A. Learning Outcomes

1. Explain concept, aims, needs and types of guidance and counseling services in primary schools.2. Practise guidance skills in primary school teacher.3. Apply theories and counseling skills in individual and group counseling processes.4. Use various types of therapy in the process of counseling children.5. Show empathy towards children in need of guidance.

This coursework is to assess learning outcomes 2 and 3.

B. Coursework Objectives1. Plan a guidance program in the primary school and evaluate the effectiveness of the program in the form of a reflective report in accordance with the learning outcomes of the program.2. Able to analyse the basic counseling skills based on the recorded counseling session in accordance with learning outcomes of the program.3.Able to justify the counseling approaches, theories application and intervention in the counseling session in accordance with learning outcomes of the program..

2.0 Counseling Report

You are required to record (video or audio) the counseling process ( a few counseling sessions) conducted by the counselor in your school.

Based on the recordings, you are required to write a report about the counseling process.
