A GREAT CHRISTMAS GIFT AVAILABLE NOW!Pierre Zermatten

Nativity Magnet (6”x 6”) - $5Don’t forget to pick up your nativity magnet. With all of the distractions we

face during His season, we are trying to get more and more magnets seen intraffic and parking lots to remind people the meaning of CHRISTmas!

This will be available for purchase after all masses this weekend at St.Theresa along with our Christmas Wreaths. Contact Pierre Zermatten withthe Knights of Columbus at 847-358-8648 or 847-540-3719 (w). Proceedssupport local charities, religious vocations and respect life initiatives.

It’s OK to say Merry Christmas to me ButtonsMerry Christmas Button (approximately 2 ¼“) - $2

The phrase, Merry Christmas, is not heard as much as it used to be. Today,we hear Happy Holidays or Seasons Greetings rather than MerryChristmas. While it is important to show sensitivity to non-Christians, it is just as important that we remind people of the reason for the season.

Buttons will be available for purchase after all masses this weekend at St.Theresa along with our Christmas Wreaths. Proceeds support charitablecauses.

Vocations RaffleJim Ciciora

The raffle books are arriving almost daily in my mail. Keep up the good work! I am sendingthe 111 books I received so far to the Illinois State Council. My hope is that by getting some

books there early and some books later, we can get our tickets in the right positions to winseveral prizes! The drawing will be January 2, 2010.

We know there is an urgent need for vocations to the religious life. This raffle isan easy way to help those who are answering God’s call. The funds we raise help seminarians, postulants

councils receive the Star Council Award for meetingtheir established goals.

Unfortunately, Danny was not able to attend themeeting. I talked with Danny prior to the meeting andpassed along his thoughts. The Star Council Awards isthe council’s award; it is not his award. He thanked all
