Student : Good morning, Miss. May I have a talk with you just for a moment?

Teacher : Oh, sure! What is it dear?

Student : I’ve seen my marks for the recent oral test, and .

Teacher : Oh really? What is it actually that you are not sure about?

Student : I deserve higher score because I feel I already performed my

speech quite clearly and fluently yesterday.

Teacher : Are you sure dear? I’m pretty convinced that I had been attentive enough yesterday

and the marks are the best I could give you.

Student : I noticed that you’re busy marking our exercise

books as well. That might have distracted your attention.

Teacher : Okay, now I think I remember. I might have been too busy doing something else at

the same time. I am sorry dear. I will make sure I review your marks again.

Student : Sure Miss. Thank you so much for your attention.

Teacher : No problem dear.

Abu : Oh hi! When is that?

Kah Fai : This evening. I’ll treat you to Insidious Chapter 2. How does that sound?

Abu : This evening? but I actually have a very important test tomorrow and I need to

do some important revision tonight.

Kah Fai : Come on! It’s on the evening, not at night. You can do it as we get back later.

Abu : don’t you think it is going to be too tiring after a day out?

I’ll be too tired to do the revision.

Kah Fai : Hmm… I guess you are right about that. Okay, don’t worry then. Let’s plan it again

sometime later when we have finished our test.

Abu : Of course! Thank you for understanding.

Ali : Hi Abu. What about watching a movie together?

Abu : Oh hi! When is that?

Ali : This evening. I’ll treat you to Chapter 2. How does that sound?

Abu : This evening? I’d like to, but I actually have a very important test tomorrow and I need to
