Our two year MBA and MBA (e-business) programmes are designed to develop business leaders with an attitude to perform

    and skills to excel.

We believe in grooming students to become self driven,

proactive and value oriented achievers. We emphasize on

education rather than qualification, collaboration ratherthan competition and therefore learning rather than

examination. In an endeavor to capture the creative vibes of

students and preventing them from being caged and

instruction driven, an activity centered, experiment

oriented and self discovering environment is created.

The MBA/MBA (eBusiness) curriculum is designed to

sharpen the mental and intellectual acumen and to

encourage student participation in on/off campus activities

like seminars, projects, presentations, quizzes, workshops, business plans, case studies and term papers etc. besides

    cultural activities.

Taking cognizance of the importance of having an

experience of the corporate environment a large number of

students undergo On Job Trainings (OJTs). It provides them

with an opportunity to apply their skills and knowledge to

    gain experience.

Globalization has led to an increase in demand for

multilingual cross-cultural managers. The teaching of

foreign languages in the Department goes a long way inmaking students global business leaders, ready to face

    international challenges.

The summer training helps students to learn the application

of principles and the theoretical framework they learn in

the classrooms, in complex business situations. In the last

semester the students submit a comprehensive project

business plan, which is meant for implementation of

business theories and concepts they learnt over a period of

two years from grass roots to the redefined levels.

LUMBA has adopted the UGC model curriculum. The

existing curriculum is continuously updated to incorporate

changes. The curriculum consists of compulsory and elective

courses for specializing in the area of Marketing, Finance,

    Human Resources, Informatics and E-Business.

The MBA-eB programme blends the managerial and

technological inputs for grooming students for managing

information driven business. The MBA-eB students take the

same course in the first year as MBA students. The secondyear curriculum revolves around specialized e-Business

topics. MBA programme in e-Business endeavors to equip

the students with the necessary skills to enable them to

deliver business generated higher payoffs in the form of

    improved customer services, improved customer

satisfaction, greater customer retention, lower operating

costs, better quality , high operational efficiency, better

    business intelligence and competitiveness.
