LADIES' CIRCLE BRANDING PART 2 – LOGOTYPE The Ladies' Circle organization goes back more than 70 years in some countries, while others are recently founded. Some countries have updated their logos during the years, some have not. We respect and value each member country and would not want you to loose your own identity. But times change, the world and how we communicate is not the same as it was when the organization once started. Nowadays social media is a huge part in how we communicate with our members but also with new and potential members. For Ladies' Circle to be a well known brand that can be recognized all over the world, we need a logotype that unites us. Today, each country has their own logotype. Very few LC logotypes look the same as their sister countries', or as the LCI star. There are many different shapes, colors and icons. The only thing that can be recognized in most of the logotypes is the name – Ladies' Circle. Our proposal for the next step toward a common identity is to create a logotype that unites us. We have two proposals. PROPOSAL NO. 1 Each country keep their original logotype within the LCI star. Pros: The countries get to keep their logotype. New member countries will always create their logo within the LCI star and can design it thereafter. Cons: This logo will be very hard to read specially when it's small, e.g. difficult to make pins, small prints. Since many countries have a lot of colors in their logotypes, the logotype can be perceived as very busy and cluttered. PROPOSAL NO. 2 Keep the LCI star and start over with new symbols for each country. (The logotypes we present are just suggestions of what the different logotypes could look like. Each country decide what image they want but the branding team are happy to help with examples if needed.) Pros: We start from scratch with a new common logotype. The Ladies' Circle brand will be recognizable wherever you go in the world. A new logotype means that each country will have a top quality format for print, web, merchandise etc. which some countries might lack today. Cons: The countries will lose their old logotypes.

LADIES' CIRCLE BRANDING PART 2 – LOGOTYPE

The Ladies' Circle organization goes back more than 70 years in some countries, while others are recently founded.

Each country keep their original logotype within the LCI star.

Pros: • The countries get to keep their logotype.• New member countries will always create their logo within the LCI star and can design it thereafter.

Cons: • This logo will be very hard to read specially when it's small, e.g. difficult to make pins, small prints. • Since many countries have a lot of colors in their logotypes, the logotype can be perceived as very

busy and cluttered.

PROPOSAL NO. 2

Keep the LCI star and start over with new symbols for each country.

(The logotypes we present are just suggestions of what the different logotypes could look like. Each country decide what image they want but the branding team are happy to help with examples if needed.)

Pros: • We start from scratch with a new common logotype. • The Ladies' Circle brand will be recognizable wherever you go in the world.• A new logotype means that each country will have a top quality format for print, web, merchandise

etc. which some countries might lack today.

Cons:• The countries will lose their old logotypes.
