    A few words about usLafarge has entered the Concrete business in Iraq in May 2011

    by acquiring a majority stake of 77C Ready Mix business. Since,Lafarge has upgraded the business to comply with the Group

    standards; Health & Safety, Quality and laboratory, processes and

    systems, new products development, etc.

    Lafarge Aggregates & Concrete Iraq embeds the same values of

    the Lafarge Group and uses the same systems and KPI’s (Key

    Performance Indicators).

    We are fully committed to deliver the Lafarge quality and innovations

    for the long years to come in Iraq.

    Largest Concrete network in IraqLafarge is currently present across all Iraq with 17 main production

    sites. Main cities are Erbil, Suleymani, Dohuk, Karbala, Najaf, Hilla,

    Baghdad, Basra, Kirkuk, Beiji.

    Development in other regions is ongoing.

    QUALITY & PERFORMANCE

    Quality Concrete

    40 laboratories tests are used to certify the

    raw materials and the concrete in its

    different phases.

    The lab tests cover different aspects from

    the raw material to hardened concreteincluding fresh concrete and durability

    tests.

    Lab in IraqEstablished in 2013 on 550m2, thelaboratory is equipped with state of the

    arts equipment from Europe. Qualified and

    trained staff work on testing & analyzing

    the samples, applying the Iraqi and the

    international standards.

    80,000 cubes tested in 2013 & over 40,000

    cubes tested in 2012.

    On daily basis, we measure the standard

    deviation, the coefficient of variation, one

    sigma and two sigma limits and several

    other KPI’s and measures.

    Our objective is zero failure.We are committed to quality,consistency & performance.
