SPECIAL MGA ANNOUNCEMENT

The 2014 Lake Valley M.G.A. CUP COMPETITION

The Lake Valley MGA has created a new competition for 2014, the “MGA Cup”! This will be a season long competition with points being earned from MGA event partici-pation and winnings. You will receive five “MGA Cup” points for every qualifying event you play in and each dollar you win in any of the nine “MGA Cup” qualifying events will translate into points toward the season total. So, the more MGA events you play in, the more “MGA Cup” points you will earn! The top twelve point earners for 2014 will qualify for a special end of the season competition. The top three point earners for the year will become the team captains for this 27 hole final event. Each captain will then pick his other three team members from the list of other qualifiers. The team will compete in a nine hole scramble, nine hole two best ball shamble with handicap, and nine holes of individual play with handicap. The team scores for each of these different segments will be totaled to determine the “MGA Cup” winners for 2014!
