In December, Mrs. Smith's Math/Science self-pace and Special Education classes went to visit the residents at "The Victorian" on Feltham Ave. Fourteen students, with the help of teacher Mrs. Smith and E.A's, Mr. Mitchner and Ms. Cassidy, walked over to the home to meet about 30 residents (who were mostly over 90 years old!) The class made them Christmas presents and cookies. We read them winter stories and listened to their own stories from their life. It was a truly memorable experience and we hope to keep this Lambrick tradition annually.

A BIG thanks to the Lambrick Park Parent Advisory Council (LAMPAC) for allocating funds towards the purchase of 35 emergency kits for each classroom. Each kit contains a flashlight, pair of gloves, first aid kid and 2 emergency blankets. In addition, we were able to secure an emergency radio, hardhats and face masks for our earthquake emergency container located in our parking lot. We conduct 2 earthquake drills on a yearly basis.
