Parts that are good candidates for Investment Casting:◦ Have complex geometry requiring extensive

machining or not possible to machine, also difficult or impossible to die cast

◦ Have very thin sections (down to .015”)◦ Have fine surface finishes ◦ Have close tolerances (.005” to .010” per inch)◦ Welded assemblies – combine into one part◦ Are between fractions of an ounce to 75 lbs.◦ Are medium to high volume production quantities

Capabilities

Page 6: Lamothermic

Automatic Wax Injection

Automatic wax injection is used on production runs over two hundred pieces. Our three state of the art automatic wax injectors assure accurate and consistent quality patterns resulting from excellent equipment parameter controls.

Page 7: Lamothermic

Robotic Ceramic System

Our Robotic ceramic system is a fully integrated cell. The computer monitors and controls the Kawasaki robot, slurry mixers, rainfall sanders, and conveyer-drying chamber to ensure consistent quality and throughput. Energy, labor, and floor space is minimized in the production of precision ceramic shells.
