It all starts with getting our needs met.

When someone steps on our toes, we feel physical pain. When a person we love says, “I don’t want to see you anymore”, we feel emotional pain. The latest brain research shows that the brain can’t tell the difference between physical pain and emotional pain. Pain, anger, fear and sadness move us to action. They tell us, “Joe, your needs are not being met!!!! DO SOMETHING!!” We then take action to meet our needs. When we take life-supporting action we are happy, joyful, loving, compassionate, peaceful, etc.

Remember, what is happening to us is negative, our feelings are there for us protect ourselves.

.

The middle layer of the bull’s-eye diagram (above) is the land of unmeet needs (core hurt). It is the result of past actions. It is the result of having been abused, defeated, made powerless,

inadequate, made not OK, conditioned into thinking that we are unlovable. It is the conditioned body, the Pain Body, the land of reactivity, the desert.

Transformation----- Work with ANGER Positively

With eyes wide open, Look out and Say, “I’m angry and I’m wanting …….. !”The dots “ …” are for you to put in your own wants, desires, needs at this moment in time.
