Traffic on Cullen St

It was a pleasure doing bus duty on Monday and seeing such a huge improvement on Cullen St regarding the

bus zone, no parking areas and no double parking. The police also reported what a significant change he

noticed and better than that, no parents or carers being issued a fine. I would like to thank our community for

supporting the school and placing everyone's safety over convenience. I know we still have lots of work to do

to address road safety, but a positive change is a huge win.

Thank you to the parents who have volunteered to work with the school in developing our Road Safety Action

Plan. I am hoping to organise a meeting very early on next term with parents, Lane Cove Council and our Road

Safety Officer to discuss short term and long term changes to make the surrounding streets around the school

safer for all. The SRC will also be involved making Road Safety videos that we will promote at school

assemblies, sending links to families to view together and discuss road safety and through our website.

School Uniform

Please note that the students will be changing to their winter uniform next term from the third week.

Students can wear either summer or winter uniform in weeks 1 and 2.

Girls wear a long sleeve blouse (with Peter Pan collar) and winter tunic, with blue tights or white socks.

There is also the option of navy blue long pants and long sleeve blouse, with a logo, as an alternative winter

option for girls. If this uniform is preferred you need to buy the girls blouse with the school logo. The navy

pants are ones specifically approved by the P&C. Both items can be bought from the uniform shop.

Boys wear grey trousers and long sleeve shirt. The sports uniform is a long sleeve polo and either navy

bootleg pants (girls) or navy microfibre pants (unisex). Navy leggings are not part of the girls sport uniform.

The uniform shop will be open from 8.00am tomorrow.
