HISTORYAn agricultural and commercial estate comprising 337 acres arable land, 150 acres concrete runway and perimeter tracks, hangars, control tower and an assortment of small derelict sheds. The airfield was constructed in 1942 for RAF Bomber Command and after the War was occupied by the Royal Canadian Airforce until 1963. It then in due course returned to the ownership of an adjoining farmer for whose executors it is now offered for sale.
