Hello AIESEC Skia!

This summer is hot not just because of weather but also we had

very intensive July in Skia. For MC it started with registration me as MCP in all offices,

Supervisory Group meeting and for sure work on Central European Congress.

Important cooperation was launched in July: Erasmus Mundus in Slovakia partnership. Updates will come in Energise!

The highlight of the month was definitely CEC in Hungary. I could

never imagine how loud we can be shouting 'Skia-Skia-SlovaKia!',

how united we can be dancing our Roll Call, how creative doing reality check, how hard working during functional meetings. This

conference borought so many emotions, cooperation, meaningful thoughts, joy and power of being the one country striving to

Deliver the Impact by achieving, keeping focus and creating every moment together.

We really enjoyed especially the Slovak part of the conference, it was all prepared very carefully and precisely which we really appreciate and this way we wanna thank the MC for an amazing job! You rocked guys! :) PS - Mia je naša! :D

CEC was simply great and very enriching :) Not only we got many GCPs and things to carry forward with us, but we also met people from similar realities that our is, we got to see the progress of the countries that were there and learnt how to build on that. Slovak part of the agenda was more than awesome! I wish for every new generation of leaders to have such a great CEC :)

Renča – LCP TT:

Well, CEC was the best conference of my AIESEC life :-) Everything was awesome: people, agenda (especially slovak agenda), feeling. I learnt very much on this conference, I met nice people and I have great experiences from whole conference. It was so motivational and also useful to be there. For me the most memorable moment was when all attended countries started sreeming their country shouts and it took 10 or 15 minutes. The chair couldnt stop us :-D We were screeming all the time coz our MC was supporting us very strongly and actually we won and actually just with a few boys :-D That was great feeling, Slovakia rocks! :-) I want to thank MC that they prepared very good agenda. Great job!

Maťa – LCP BA: Surprisingly, this was the first time I attended CEC conference, so for me (and my EB as well) it was something very new and different. We enjoyed especially national part of the agenda which was very well prepared and had logical and systematic flow. Moreover, for me personally it was very cool to meet friends I had chance to get to know at EuroXpro conference in Greece and share our experience since EuroXpro when most of was was just at the beginning of our journey.

Katka – LCP NT:

CEC was very special from the beginning... from our interesting journey to Gyor through all the meetings, sessions, roll-calls, teambuildings (I never had so interesting session called Vision 2015)... and global villages of course :). I learned a lot from other people, I could see how things work in other LCs and countries and I was very impressed by Skia, how strong we can be, when we do things together (not only shouting) :))

Nikuš – LCP KE:

CEC in Hungary was simply amazing! I don’t even know from

where should I start, because I have many great and funny

memories, I met a lot of cool people and got many GCPs from

other countries which we can use in Slovakia. International

part of agenda was awesome, we had time to share and

cooperate with other LCs, talk with representatives from

companies, attend many useful training and have a lot of fun

and amazing times during parties. But the national part of

agenda was more than great, more than amazing, it was

incredible and perfect, as well as our MC Step Up is! They

prepared for us totally out of the box, innovative and

interesting program, which was very well prepared. This way I

would like to thank to our MC, great job and keep going! Skia

It is our big big pleasure to officially announce approval of IG Prešov.

So proud of you guys and we wish you good luck!

Baška – IG Prešov:

CEC was extraordinary for many people from many

different reasons. So it was for me. But the highlight of the conference was when the presidents were voting and, thereby,

officially approved Presov as Initiative Group.That meant for Presov great step forward, success which is both appreciation

of what we have done and achieved so far and motivation which is pushing us further. Winning also the Best Realization Fulfillment award, AIESEC Presov proved its relevance and is gradually becoming recognizable entity

of AIESEC Skia. And I am proud of being part of this process. Establishing something from the very beginning is tough indeed but the feeling that you

are bringing new opportunities to the city where such ones never existed, is irreplaceable. To me, the number of satisfied members and interns with

relevant and qualitative experience is a real measure of success.

This is gonna be a key term for us, at the end of which, hopefully,

is waiting an announcement of LC Presov :)

Announcement of IG Presov

AIESEC International Congress is the

biggest and the most anticipated event in the

organization's life, taking place annually and uniting the representatives of local and national

AIESEC entities in 110 countries at one place and time to set goals for the next period, celebrate the success and share the experience.

The conference consists of 10 days of discovery, collaboration and inspiration for the current AIESEC top

level leaders from all over the world. It is also opened for every AIESEC member to participate virtually. The most important AIESEC conference motivates hundreds of people to apply for organization committee team and

thousands are hoping to be a delegate.

International Congress has recently been held in Kenya, India, Malaysia, Brazil and Poland. Russia is proud to be the host of the IC2012.

The conference to get everyone back on track after the summer vacation, get together,

enjoy and meet one another while preparation for the upcoming recruitment is covered

within functional meetings and integrated Train The Trainers’ seminar along with space for

bringing back information and strategies from International Congress.
