ARTICLE III RELATIONSHIP TO CRANDALL UNIVERSITY The CSA is an entity of Crandall University and derives authority for its existence and actions from its relationship with the Board of Governors of Crandall University as established by means of this Constitution, which has been proposed by the CSA, and which has been approved at a duly called meeting of the Board of Governors of Crandall University on May 29, 2003, and revised from time to time in accordance with Article X. As an entity of Crandall University, the CSA is subject to all policies of the University. The CSA recognizes that the agent of the Board for the conduct of University business is the President of Crandall University and that all recommendations for revision of its Constitution must be submitted to the President of the University to be submitted for the Board’s consideration. The CSA recognizes that the use of the name Crandall Student Association is at the sole discretion of Crandall University, and that should the CSA seek to incorporate as a legal entity on its own at any given time, that permission to use the name Crandall University could be revoked and that the University may choose to no longer collect student fees for the new entity. The financial records of the CSA will be submitted at the conclusion of each academic year to the financial office of the University for inclusion in the annual financial review or audit of the University that shall be conducted by an accounting firm that is engaged from time to time by the University. The Short of it exists because of & et al. have to approve any changes we make to the way the CSA is run. if we don’t like that and want to run things without the boards approval, they can ban us from using “Crandall” in our name and stop collecting student fees for us. :. LAW X SUMMER OPERATIONS

1. The President shall maintain contact with the executive, and if necessary, the Student Senate, by mail, e-mail, or phone to ensure that all are informed of current matters.

2. During the summer months the executive shall be empowered to make decisions to ensure that CSA operations are maintained properly.

3. Staff members whose duties will commence at the beginning of the school year must send updated bi-weekly reports to the Vice President Internal during summer months.
