While drinking the tea, Teacher Wang asked Shihai:"Xiaoding and Xueyou

took the plane to China. Did everything go well?" Shihai told Teacher

Wang, everything went well. Teacher Wang said, he had to go to the

Chinese Embassy to get some business done that day, therefore he could

not see Xiaoding and Xueyou off. However, he had already given Xiaoding

and Shihai the phone number and the address of his home in Beijing, and

asked them to call his wife Xijing as soon as they arrived in Beijing.

Teacher Wang said, for last year's Thanksgiving he celebrated the

holiday with Xiaoding's family, and he felt like he was in his own home.

He hoped that Xiaoding and Xueyou could also visit his home in Beijing

frequently and have a good time. Teacher Wang also asked Shihai:"This is

the first time for Xiaoding and Xueyou to go to China, China is far away

The preposition means "from" . It is used to form a prepositional

structure indicating distance in space or time. The two commonly used

2. The Prepositional Phrase ......
