LEARNING PLAN

This is your learning plan for the week.

On the following 2 slides, there is suggested pacing for each day of the week. The pacing and assignment checklist for the week can also be found as an assignment on Google Classroom. Following this pacing is completely optional.

When working online, it is usually a good idea to use the Google Chrome browser and to log into your Google Classroom account. This will help if you are using some websites that are linked to your Google account.

Should you need any of your passwords, please reach out to me.

Day Assignments

Monday

● Read “Freedom Summer” (read aloud option available) and answer question 2 on the reading assignment

● Write the introduction of your literary essay ● Watch the Lessons 25-26 math video and complete HW

problems● Watch the two science videos and complete the Week 9

Science Assignment

Tuesday

● Read “The Other Side” (read aloud option available) and answer question 3 on the reading assignment

● Write the first body paragraph of your literary essay● Watch the Lesson 27 math video and complete HW

problems● Complete Slides 1-3 in your Ecosystems Notebook

Friday HAPPY MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND!!

We will have ONE morning meeting this week on Wednesday, May 20th at 9:30. Please use the nicknames found on the Week 9 slides on Google Classroom to join the morning meeting.

This week, we are going to continue working on analyzing paired texts. Watch the videos in the chart below to help you complete the Google Classroom assignment.

● When you finish watching the videos, complete the Google Classroom assignment titled, “Analyzing Paired Texts”.

● Make sure you continue to read an independent reading book during this unit! Please read for about 20 minutes a day.
