LAST TIME OUT: The Leathernecks fell behind early and could not fully recover in a 56-47 loss at Southeast Missouri on December 8th... Western shot just 28 percent from the field, and only 26 percent from 3-point range... The team committed 20 turnovers, but on a positive note blocked nine shots and forced 24 Redhawk turnovers... Michele Salvatori scored in double-figures for the first time this season, netting a team-high 11 points... Rachel Evans blocked a career-high five shots and matched a career-high of eight rebounds.

UP NEXT: The Leathernecks have one final game before Christmas Break, playing host to Bradley this Friday (Dec. 21). Western returns to action on December 28th, beginning Summit League play at Oakland, then traveling to Fort Wayne (Dec. 30).

BLOCK PARTY: Western jumped up to 55th nationally averaging 4.7 blocked shots per game... Three times this season Western blocked nine shots, most recently nine at Southeast Missouri... The team holds a 42-14 edge in blocked shots, led by Ashley Luke and Rachel Evans with 10 each... Michelle Maher is tied for the team lead with six (and tied for lead with two games of 20-plus points) and Charnelle Reed is right behind with four...
