Behavioural Objective: By the end of the lesson, the pupils will be able to:
a) Know the different types of animals and the sounds by
completed the task sheet given correctly.
b) Predict and share their ideas with their friends and teacher by
interacting in the reading session.
c) Understand the storyline by answering the comprehension
questions.
Teaching Aid: Video, picture cards, story text, worksheet, colour pencil, manila card,
stick, scissors, and glue.
Word list: Cow-moo, dog-bark, cat-mew, duck-quack, goat-bleak and
Bird-chip.
Sentence pattern: “So she bought some……..”

Grammar: Simple Past Tense
Pupil’s previous knowledge: Pupils have learnt some types of animals and the sound.

Pupils work on the stick
puppet. Pupils have to role play
the story using the stickpuppet based on thedialogue on the story text.

Teacher replays on thevideo clip and asks thepupils to sing the songtogether.
