Global Address List (GAL)Sharing
• Places NAVMED Contacts in the VA GAL and FHCC contacts into the NMED GAL
• Allows E-Mail addresses to be shared between the VA and Navy Medicine– Addresses are able to be viewed and accessed through the GAL– End-users access through Outlook – Enables more seamless collaboration
• Co-managed by the ESOC and VA Technical Staff• Expected to be fully in place and operational in
December 2010 (this date needs to be confirmed)
