Tello EDU is one of the core products of DJI STEAM. It is a programmable drone designed for K-12 education. It combines new teaching aids, various apps, and supporting courses to provide a complete STEAM solution for schools and other educational organizations, making it easier to learn different programming languages such as Scratch, Python, and Swift.
DJI provides competitions and event support, and promotes drone competitions through a global education network. DJI has held these events in many cities in China like Hong Kong, Shenzhen, and hopes to introduce these to more countries.
DJI STEAM will launch a series of offline educational activities, including Tello EDU Carnival, Tello EDU summer camps, Tello EDU Youth Hackathon etc., to enable more students to understand and participate in the world of drones.
Different Combos are available for actual teaching scenarios. The complete Tello EDU Combo for teaching scenarios includes Tello EDU, new Mission Pads, and a whole set of accessories.
In order to provide a more comprehensive solution to classrooms, DJI is cooperating with partners in the United States, Britain, and Australia to provide drone programming courses. In addition, users can download the Swift Playgrounds app on the iPad and get free access to Apple's Swift course, "Tello Space Travel" to learn programming anytime and anywhere.
