What is Web AppBuilder
AppBuilder for ArcGIS is an intuitive what-you-see-is-what-you-get (WYSIWYG) application that allows you to build 2D
and 3D web apps without writing a single line of code. It includes powerful tools to configure fully featured HTML
apps. As you add your map and tools, you can see them in the app, and use them right away
Working with Web AppBuilder
• Can be used within ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS • Gets embedded in the web site • Activate from the map/scene viewer or Content page
• Developer Edition • Separate download and installed locally (uses Node.js – create windows service) • Sign into ArcGIS Online or Portal for ArcGIS • Support for custom widgets and themes
