Present Group – Logistics Coordinator October 2013 – July 2015

This role has ignited a passion to work within the electrical and resourcing sector. During my time with this company, I took on many new responsibilities, and demonstrated adaptability to change in structure, processes and leadership. Some of the roles and responsibilities I have undertaken in this position are as follows:

Facilitating the cataloguing, categorisation and storage of electrical equipment in the warehouse. Communicating with customer in relation to the procurement, hire and function of specialised

electrical equipment. Pre and post hire checks performed on equipment prior to mobilisation. This included

o Checking equipment for faults at any point (all cabling and accessories were thoroughly inspected).

o PAT electrical leads and power supplies.o 3ph PAT electrical leads and adaptors.

Conducting Weekly checks on hire vehicles (Fleet Hilux, Prado, Calibrations Truck), including basic mechanical checks.

Supplier communications relating to the company’s procurement, hires and maintenance of highly specialized electrical equipment.

Advanced implication of Epicor Specialized Software, which was used business wide for running the day to day operation of the company.

Present Group – Calibrations Assistant March 2014 – September 2014

In this position, I was able to have hands on experience in the administration and testing procedures of a Australian Standard HV testing lab. Needless to say, I really enjoyed this role as it allowed me to work closely with the equipment that my other role familiarised me with. We conducted tests with a range of equipment, many of which would not be found outside a specialised laboratory. The tests conducted required a range of reference tools, with specific applications for the testing of voltage, amplitude, resistance, capacitance, frequency and temperature. In addition to this, the software required a different set of skills including some more advanced manipulation of computer systems in order to integrate with the test software and equipment. Some of these systems were partially integrated with the systems required use in my other role at Present Group, however these computing systems are very extensive, and therefore I needed to expand my skillset in order to fulfil this role.

Team Moto Honda – Accessories SalesJune 2013 – October 2013

Working for Motorcycle Holdings gave me insight into the day-to-day running of a multi-faceted dealership enterprise. Whilst my role was primarily accessories and spare part sales, I also gained experience working in a large team, with specialised one-on-one customer relations. It also reinforced a lot of the skills and competencies that had been taken on in earlier roles at Stone.
