Right for youAs a parent, sending your child to nurseryis a big step – possibly one of the mostimportant emotional decisions you willever make. Having supported thousandsof parents since we first began in 1903,we’re confident that LEYF will be theright choice for you and your child.

Outstanding daycare

The first thing you should know about LEYF is that all our nurseries are registeredby Ofsted, with over 90% rated ‘Good’ or ‘Outstanding’.

We offer both full and part-time places forchildren aged 6 months to 5 years, includinga choice of morning and afternoon sessions.We also support term-time only or all yearround options for the Government’s 15hours FREE childcare for all children aged 3-4 (and some 2 year-olds), and cater fordisabilities and special needs.

All of our nurseries are within walkingdistance of your local bus stop, tube ortrain station – and except for two trainingdays and bank holidays, are typically open8am-6pm all year round.

Affordable places

We pride ourselves on our competitive andsocially inclusive fees, and work closely withlocal authorities and funders to bring downthe cost for parents studying, looking forwork or starting a new business. We alsooffer a sibling discount as standard, andare happy to accept childcare vouchers.

Regular contact

Once your child is settled, it’s essential youcontinue to feel included as a key part oftheir on-going learning and development.In addition to regular updates from yourchild’s key person, each nursery holds twoparents’ evenings a year where we discussyour child’s learning journey – and in thecase of children over two years, theirprogress in literacy, maths, understandingthe world and expressive arts and design.
