Judges John O’Connor and Greg Moran were responsible for inspecting regional submissions while Geoff Fowler and Leon Patterson inspected all metropolitan submissions. They described the quality of submissions as impressively high and noted the wide range of projects across the public works spectrum that were covered. The Engineering Excellence Awards showcases infrastructure achievements across NSW, inspiring us all with what is possible when innovative thinking and outstanding commitment are combined with technical expertise and hard work. The Gala Dinner was a big success and ended with a performance by Australian band Dragon.
