Mon 8th April: Today the Amazing Animals team are visiting with their
favourite baby farm animals! Meet an alpaca, pat a lamb, play with a baby
goat, feed a guinea pig and cuddle the chickens and ducklings! The Chirpee
Chicks Crew are also visiting with a special delivery of ready-to-hatch eggs!
Tues 9th April: Join us for a super cool drawing workshop today! Cartoon
artist Phil Judd is coming to OSHC! Learn how to draw your favourite farm
animals and create your own work of art to take home! We are also getting
creative in the kitchen as we are baking & decorating farm animal cupcakes!
Wed 10th April: Today we are off to Paradise Country to visit our favourite
farm animals and animal shows! Highlights of the day include the fast paced
stockman horse show, the sheep shearing demonstration and meeting the
baby animals in the farmyard nursery! And enjoy damper with your friends!
Thurs 11th April: Today we are getting very egg-cited because we are egg-
agerly watching to see if our Chirpee Chicks eggs are hatching! We have lots
of egg-cellent activities planned! Paint and decorate a wooden egg, create a
cool hanging egg with a chick inside and play “Egg Toss” and “Egg Handball”!
Fri 12th April: Come dressed as a farmer and join in our Country Fair and
Barn Dance party! Show us your best line dance moves and bust open our
tractor piñata then help us collect firewood to build a campfire! We are
baking potatoes in the coals and making our own yummy butter to go on top!
Need a break from life on the farm? We will still have all of your favourite OSHC activities available – art & craft, chess, colouring in, cricket, drawing, football, hama beads, handball, home corner, Lego, loom bands, Mobilo, music, playground games, puzzles, reading, soccer, Trio, Uno & more!
Mon 15th April: Calling all farmers! Today we are visiting the Beelarong
Community Farm to see what is growing! Back at OSHC we will be learning
about the important role that worms and bees play in our environment. We
will be setting up our compost bin and worm farm then baking honey joys!
Tues 16th April: It’s time to get planting! Today you will be able to make
your own mini herb garden (with bonus seeds!) and a funky wooden mini
toolbox to take home! In the afternoon we are making our own OSHC
scarecrow for the garden and baking a delicious cheesy vegetable frittata!
Wed 17th April: Arrive early today because we are off to the farm! We are
going on an excursion to Tommerup Dairy – a working dairy farm – to learn all
about farm life! Join the farm tour, see the milking sheds, get up close with
the animals and learn how to make yummy yoghurt, cheese and ice cream!
Thurs 18th April: Time to wind down and enjoy the Easter activities on the
farm! Decorate your own wooden Easter bunny, make Easter decorations and
create a cool sand art Easter Egg! Say goodbye to our Chirpee Chicks as
they go back to the farm then hop over to join our Giant Easter Egg Hunt!
Fri 19th April: Good Friday – CLOSED.
We wish all of our families a very happy and safe Easter.
