RAM is a high-performance, light-weight, all-terrain armoured vehicle suitable for a wide variety of missions. The vehicle is in active service with military, paramilitary, policing and peacekeeping forces around the world. RAM is intelligently designed to ensure easy maintenance and long serviceability. It features a tough Monocoque armoured hull construction for improved safety, stability and load handling, even at high speeds. The reliable automotive package comprises a turbo-charged, air-cooled, 6-cylinder Diesel engine, power assisted hydraulic brakes, and power steering with a solid 27.6:1 power-to-weight ratio.
