11.603 sq.m; Total BUA- 27631; Total no. of buildings-8.(C-30) Project proponent has obtained has obtained C to E- (C- 17) Project proponent has submitted B.G of Rs. 3.0 lakhs to Regional office Raigad as per

C to E. (C-27 ) PP has informed that the domestic effluent generated will be treated into the STP

provided by Local body (CIDCO Ltd.) They have obtained temporary drainage connection certificate from CIDCO.(C-23) PP has paid consent fees for four terms. SRO has recommended to grant consent. Case was discussed in CC meeting dated- 18/5/2013.SCN issued on 12/06/2013.

- Applied for Renewal of consent. - CI of the industry is Rs. 52.64/- Crs. Earlier in 2010-11 it was Rs.46.30/- Crs. - Application received at SRO 19.01.2013, and received at HQ-26.02.2013 - Earlier consent validity-31.12.2009. - Industry has provided primary, secondary and tertiary treatment for industrial

effluent 225 CMD. Out of which 205 CMD treated industrial effluent used for cooling and boiler and spraying. Remaining used for gardening/irrigation. JVS results are exceeding the limits.

- Industry has submitted consent fees a DD of Rs. 275000/ out of 463334/- for the period up to 31.07.2014. for balance fees submission, mail sent to industry on dt. 07.06.013.

- Considering the reply submission from the industry and as per circular of the Board dtd. 19.01.013, it is recommended to grant renewal of consent up to 31.07.2014, subject to obtaining requisite consent fees and with BG of Rs. 5/- Lakhs & 3/-= Lakhs for O& M and APC as per CREP and 2/- Lakhs as directed by RO vide his ID dtd.10.05.013.

1. C.I is increased to the tune of 26.73 crores as compared to previous investment.(Previous 22 crore present 48.73 Crores.)

2. IE 300 CMD not complied with CREP condition of water consumption i.e 100 Ltrs/Ton of crushing.

3. Provided Secondary & tert treatment. 4. Treated effluent is used on land for gardening. Land available for disposal of effluent 22

acres which is sufficient. 5. JVS results are fluctuating in respect of BOD COD,TDS. 6. Wet scrubber provided as an APC system. 7. RO issued I.D on 05.01.13 for CREP condition compliance. 8. Ind submitted B.G of Rs 2.0 lakhs for compliance of CREP as per interim directions

issued by RO. 9. RO reported by a separate office note that complaint was received against the ind

investigation was done on 18.01.13 and 24.01.13. The JVS results dtd 18.01.13 & stack monitoring results are also exceeding the standards.

10. RO recommended for forfeiture of B.G of rs 2.0 and issuance of Consent for shorter period with bank Guarantee of Rs 5.0 Lakhs & 2.0 lakhs.

11. Application was discussed in CC dtd 06.05.13 & letter was issued for clarification . Ind submitted reply .

12. We may renew the consent up to 31.07.15 with balance fees of five months.

scrubber/ESP as an APC system. 8) Envt. Statement submitted for year 2011-12. 9) Cess returns submitted up to Nov 2012. 10) B.G of Rs 5.0 lakhs & 2.0 lakhs is submitted by industry with validity 07.02.13 &

30.04.2013. 11) SRO reported that ind has covered effluent carrying pipeline by Shahabadi Stone &

recently provided 15 days storage tank. 12) I.D issued on 03.01.2013 for providing Air Pollution Control Equipment as per CREP

guidelines i.e Wet scrubber/ESP, for which B.G of Rs 3.0 lakhs is prescribed in ID. 13) RO recommended for renewal of Consent subject to obtaining lapse period consent

fees of Rs 4.55 lakhs. 14) Recommended for renewal with extension of B.G of Rs 5 lakhs and 3 lakhs upto

validity of consent & payment of lapse period fees. And return B.G of Rs 2.0 lkhs as ind has complied condition.

15) Application was discussed in CC dtd 06.05.13 & letter was issued for payment of lapse period fees.

16) Ind paid necessary fees. We may grant renewal of consent with B.G of Rs 5.0 lakhs & 2.0 lakhs with validity upto 30.11.2014 & return B.G of Rs 2.0 Lakhs.

effluent is used on land for gardening. 6. Industry was closed from last three years. 7. Land available for disposal 51 Hecters. 8. 1 Nos. of Bagasse base boiler provided with fly ash arrester. 9. RO, Aurangabad has reported that ind is not complying with CREP norms, not provided

15 days storage tank, wet scrubber/ESP to boiler. 10. Industry has not paid lapse period fee of rs 3.45 lacs. 11. RO recommended for renewal of Consent up to 31/12/2012 with bank Guarantee of rs

5.0 lakhs & 2.0 lakhs as per circular issued by Board vide dtd 16/12/2011. 12. Ind refused to pay fees of lapse period fees. We may issue SCN for refusal of consent.

HOD Remarks: 1. Application for grant of renewal of Consent to Operate of 5 Star Hotel (147 rooms) received

at R.O. (Mumbai) on 7/09/2011. 2. Application was returned to the applicant vide letter No. SROM-IV/TB/111029FT0145 dtd. 29/10/11. 3. Regional Officer (Mumbai) had issued SCN on 16/06/2012. 4. Applicant has resubmitted application for grant of renewal of Consent to Operate on

18/01/2013. 5. R.O.(Mumbai) forwarded application to A.S.(T) on 08/02/13. Hard copy of application

received at HQ on 12/02/2013. 6. Firm has provided primary treatment to treat laundry effluent. After treatment, mixed with

sewage for further treatment in the STP consisting of primary, secondary & tertiary treatment. After treatment, treated sewage/effluent is utilized upto maximum extent for flushing, cooling purpose, and rest is discharged on land for gardening. JVS results are observed exceeding Consented limits.

7. Firm has provided Ozonization treatment for swimming pool water.(C-123) 8. Dry waste – 25 Kg/day is disposed off by sale. Wet waste - 50 Kg/day & STP Sludge – 130 Kg/month is sent to MCGM dumping site. 9. In Consent processing report, C.I. is mentioned as Rs. 42.25 Crores. But, C.A. Certificate

showing C.I. of Rs. 21.50 Crores in fixed assets of M/s Ramda Plaza Palm Grove, Juhu Tara Road, Juhu, Mumbai-400 059 is attached alongwith the application form.

10. RO (Mumbai) has recommended refusal for grant of renewal of Consent to Operate. 11. Hotel Authority has paid consent fees Rs. 70100/-DD dtd-18/6/2011 + 3,80,000/- D.D.

dated-29/1/2013 (C-128). 12. Case was discussed in CC meeting dated-15/3/2013 13. SCN was issued vide letter dated-06/04/2013.(C-121) 14. Reply submitted vide letter dated-12/4/2013. (C-123). 15. Report w.r.t. reply submitted by Hotel Authority is called from SRO M-IV vide e mail dated-

Provided ESP followed by stack of 60 meters height to boiler. Provided dust collector to coal crushing & screening and to conveyor belt.

Provided ETP for DM water backwash, boiler blowdown & cooling water is used in coal yard for spraying.

JVS results of treated water are within limits and JVS results of Stack air monitoring (private lab)are within limit.
