Question 11 TPR GAME ACTIVITY:!Sit students in a large circle with the teacher in the middle. Play Copy Cat where the students must listen to the teachers instruction and follow it. Firstly, the teacher should say the command and follow it along with the students. Next, the teacher should simply say the command and watch students follow it. Lastly, the teacher can test the students by saying a command and doing a wrong action to see which students are listening and understanding rather than simply copying the teacher. To put a competitive edge on the game, the teacher can eliminate students who do the wrong action or are the last to follow it.!!Question 15 COMMON CONTRACTIONS WORKSHEET:!A contraction is a grammar term to describe when two words have been conjoined with an apostrophe to show the missing letters. For example, one of the most common contractions that you will hear would be Im which is simply a contraction for I am.!!In the following text, highlight the contractions:!Janes Diary - Monday 15th June!I was so excited to sleep in this morning because its school holidays! I slept in until 10:30am and then Ruth asked me to come over for a play. I had a great idea in the car on my way there, I wanted to ask Ruth if we could go to the movies to see Diary of a Wimpy Kid. When I arrived Ruth had been baking and hadnt had time to wash the dishes so I helped her. We finished just in time to buy tickets to see the movie, so we sat in the middle row of seats in the cinema. I didnt think that the movie was as funny as it looked, but thats okay because I still enjoyed it. After the movie it was time for a late lunch at the Cafe across the road. Ruth had pizza, but I didnt like the olives on the pizza so I had pasta instead. It was so yummy! My stomach was so full after that I had to go home and have a sleep. I felt much better after that, but then it was already dinner time and the day went so quickly.!!Guess the following contractions!
