SYNOPSISIt is about a girl named Lisa who becomes trapped in a tricky situation due to her parents’ foolishness to see Lisa be married the King. Lisa’s parents make rash promises that she could actually spin straw into gold. The greedy king accepts the promise and demands that she proves her worth or he will behead her. A little man arrives and helps her spin all the straw into gold for three consequent nights but at a price each. On her final night, in return for his help, he asks Lisa to give him her first-born baby. However, when the final day arrives & the little man comes to claim his prize, Lisa refuses to do so. The little man agrees to leave the family alone only if they could guess his name in three days. The first two days Lisa fails to guess the little man’s name. However, before the final day, her parents help her by tailing the little man into the woods. Hidden behind some bushes, they overhear him singing while dancing around a fire. There he shouts his name Rumpelstiltskin and that is how they find out his name. When the dwarf returns on the third day, Lisa reveals his name. Rumpelstiltskin loses his bargain and vanishes into thin air, never to be seen again.
