2. ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION LIBRARY AND INFORMATION SERVICES IN ACADEMIC LIBRARIES AS A SUPPORT OF LEARNING AND PARTICIPATION OF STUDENT WITH DISABILITIES, SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

On July 6th 2017 in Centre of Interdisciplinary Studies of UNSA Round Table Discussion Library and Information Services in Academic Libraries as a Support of Learning and Participation of Student with Disabilities was held as a joint activity of two CBHE projects School-to-Work Transition for Higher education students with disabilities in Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina and Montenegro and Library Network Support Services: Modernising libraries in Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services. Prof. Dr. Maida Čohodar Husić, UNSA Vice-Rector for Quality addressed the participants and expressed the satisfaction that the University of Sarajevo is a partner in implementation of projects that are devoted to the issues of rights and needs of student with disabilities. The Round Table Discussion was attended by academic staff and students of UNSA and other universities, academic librarians, public and school librarians who exchanged their experiences and opinions in terms of improving the quality of library and information services for people with disabilities.




3. LIBRARY NETWORK SUPPORT SERVICES (LNSS) PRESENTATION AT A ROUND TABLE DISCUSSION “LEGAL AND RELATED LIBRARIES: BROKERS OF SCIENTIFIC AND PROFESSIONAL INFORMATION”, NEUM, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

The South East European Association of Law and Related Libraries - SEALL was established in 2009 and its members are mostly from higher education, university and special libraries (courts and prosecutors' offices). Roundtables of librarians of legal and related libraries in Southeastern Europe have been held for 12 years. This year's Association Round table was held in Neum, entitled “Legal and Related Libraries: Brokers of Scientific and Professional Information” from 16 June to 18 June 2017.As SEALL round tables are an excellent opportunity to present important topics and information to the regional library community, at this year's round table, M. Sc. Mirela Rozajac-Zulcic from the UNSA Faculty of Law Library presented ERASMUS + Project Library Network Support Services (LNSS): Modernising libraries in Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services.




As a project participant, M. Sc. Rozajac-Zulcic presented project’s organizational aspects, contents and activities. The round table participants showed great interest in the Project, primarily for the online modules’ contents.

4. LIBRARY NATIONAL AWARENESS DAY - SECOND MEETING WITH PARTNER INSTITUTIONS, SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

As a follow-up of activities on implementing the Library National Awareness Day, one of the most important activities of the project ERASMUS+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) - „Library Network Support Services (LNSS): Modernizing libraries in Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services“, in the UNSA Rectorate on Friday, 16 June 2017 a second meeting with potential partner institutions was held. Prof. Dr. Maida Cohodar Husic, UNSA Vice-Rector for Quality addressed the participants and expressed the satisfaction that the University of Sarajevo is a partner in a project promoting the importance of libraries. Presentation of the LNAD Day was held by Mr. Sc. Nadina Grebovic-Lendo, UNSA Faculty of Philosophy Library Head and NLAD action group chair, highlighting the importance of engagement of partner institutions and giving instructions on the possibilities of marking this day at partner institutions.




5. ACTION GROUP OF THE LIBRARY NATIONAL AWARENESS DAY MEETING, BIHAC, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

As the suggestion of the project participant from UNSA, meeting of the Action Groups of the Library National Awareness Day was held in Bihac on June 6, 2017. The meeting was attended by representatives of the Universities of Sarajevo, Mostar and the Cantonal and University Library of Bihac. Partners presented short reports on completed activities, talked about upcoming activities with emphasis on the approximation of promotional materials, holding of central activities in partner institutions, reporting, media promotion of the National Libraries Awareness Day, securing sponsorships, etc. The meeting also paid great attention to the discussion on the need and possibilities of sustainability initiatives of the Library National Awareness Day in the next ten years.




6. WESTERN BALKAN INFORMATION LITERACY CONFERENCE, BIHAC, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

The Western Balkan Information Literacy Conference (WBILC) was held in Bihac (Bosnia and Herzegovina) from 7 to 9 June 2017. The conference was organized by the Limerick Institute of Technology (Ireland) that is also the coordinator of the Erasmus + project Capacity Building in the Field of Higher Education (CBHE) Project 561987 “Library Network Support Services: Modernizing libraries and the Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services .” Six representative of the University of Sarajevo, members of DWG, LTWG and LNSS TG working groups actively participated in this conference and they presented four papers that were published in the Conference Proceedings with international review.







7. LNSS WORKING GROUPS MEETINGS, BIHAC, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

DWG, LTWG and LNSS CT partner meetings in Erasmus+ Capacity building of the Erasmus project in the field of higher education (CBHE) Project 561987 “Library Network Support services modernization of libraries in the Western Balkans through staff development and reform of services libraries” were held in Bihac, Bosnia and Herzegovina from 4 to 7 June 2017.The meeting organizers were Cantonal and University Library in Bihac and Limerick Institute of Technology (Ireland). Active participants were two representatives from Transylvania University in Brasov (Romania), the University of Crete (Greece), Agricultural University Tirana (Albania), University “Fan S. Noli” in Korca (Albania) University of Tirana (Albania), the University of Pristina, Kosovska Mitrovica, University of Montenegro (Montenegro), the cantonal and University library in Bihac (BiH) , University of Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina), and the University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).




8. PUBLIC PRESENTATION OF THE LNSS PROJECT ON 29TH INTERNATIONAL BOOK FAIR, SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

LNSS project participants from University of Sarajevo and participants of the Action group of the Library National Awareness Day promoted the emerging activities of the LNSS project and distributed promotional materials at the University Book Fair within the 29th International Book Fair. Presentations were attended by participants of the LNSS project from University of Sarajevo. The interested visitors were able to view the poster, take a brochure, and discuss about the LNSS project with the project participants.







9. LIBRARY NATIONAL AWARENESS DAY MEETING WITH PARTNER INSTITUTIONS, SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

In implementing project activities of the Erasmus+ Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) - "Library Network Support Services (LNSS): Modernising libraries in Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services”, at the University of Sarajevo on Wednesday, 12 April 2017, a meeting with a prospective partner institutions that will enable their participation at a high level in marking the Library National Awareness Day was held.At the meeting, Prof. Dr. Maida Cohodar Husic, UNSA Vice-Rector for Quality addressed attendees and emphasized her satisfaction that the University of Sarajevo is a partner in this project. M.Sc. Nadina Grebovic-Lendo, president of the NAD Action group and head of the Library at the UNSA Faculty of Philosophy presented the Library National Awareness Day and stressed the importance of engaging partner institutions and gave instructions on the possibilities of celebrating this day on partner institutions.






10. MEETING BETWEEN THE LIBRARY NATIONAL AWARENESS DAY ACTION GROUP AND MAYOR OF NOVO SARAJEVO, SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

On Tuesday 11 April 2017, a meeting between the Library National Awareness Day Action Group and Mayor of Novo Sarajevo, Mr. Nedzad Koldzo was held. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Maida Cohodar Husic, UNSA Vice-Rector for Quality, Mr. Sc. Nadina Grebovic-Lendo, Library National Awareness Day Action Group president and head of the library of UNSA Faculty of Philosophy and Prof. Fuada Muslic, LNSS administrative coordinator project representing the University of Sarajevo.It was agreed that the central activity of the LNAD - Library National Awareness Day in Canton Sarajevo takes place at the Vilsonovo setaliste. Mayor Koldzo expressed his support in organizing the project activities and providing support to the Walk for the Library, which will be held on 8 September 2017.




11. PROJECT MANAGEMENT COMMITTEE MEETING, DRESDEN, GERMANY

A PMC meeting among partners in the Erasmus + project “Library Network Support Services (LNSS): Modernising libraries and the Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services (CBHE 561987)” was held in Dresden (Germany) from 28 February to 4 March 2017.The organizers of the meetings were the Technische Universitaet Dresden (Germany) and the Limerick Institute of Technology (Ireland), project coordinator. The meeting was attended by representatives from the Technische Universitaet Dresden Institute of Technology in Limerick (Ireland), Transylvania University of Brasov, the University of Crete (Greece), the Agricultural University of Tirana (Albania), University "Fan S. Noli" in Korca (Albania), the cantonal and University library in Bihac (Bosnia and Herzegovina), University of Mostar (Bosnia and Herzegovina), University of Tirana (Albania), University of Pristina, Kosovska Mitrovica, National and University Library of Kosovo (Kosovo under UNSC Resolution 1244/99), the




University of Montenegro (Montenegro) and the University of Sarajevo (Bosnia and Herzegovina).

12. UNSA INTERNATIONAL PROJECT PRESENTATIONS, SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

A meeting between UNSA Vice-Rectors and heads of UNSA international projects was held on 9 November 2016. The aim was to present projects and project activities as well as making an agreement concerning cooperation between the UNSA organizational units and Rectorate. The meeting was attended by Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo, Vice Rector for Research, Prof. Dr. Aleksandra Nikolic, Vice Rector for International Cooperation, Prof. Dr. Aida Hodzic, Vice Rector for Academic and Student Affairs and Prof. Dr. Maida Cohodar Husic, Vice-Rector for Quality.Prof. Dr. Izet Radjo, Vice Rector for Research opened the meeting with words of welcome to the participants and stressed the importance of exchanging experiences and best practices in the implementation of international projects and expressed support for the administration of future project activities.Library Network Support Services: Libraries and the Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services – LNSS was presented by Lejla Hajdarpašić.




13. LNSS INFO DAY, SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

On Tuesday, 18 October 2016 from 12:00 to 13:00 hours University of Sarajevo organized LNSS INFO Day where project team members from UNSA presented the current activities on the implementation of the LNSS project at the University of Sarajevo to media and all interested stakeholders.







14. ONLINE MODULE WORKING GROUP MEETING, SARAJEVO, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

As a part implementing activities in of the ERASMUS+ project Capacity Building in Higher Education (CBHE) “Library Network Support Services (LNSS): Modernising libraries and Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services”, at the University of Sarajevo (Center for Interdisciplinary Studies) on 18 and 19 October 2016 the two-day meeting of the Online Modules Working Group (OMWG) was held. Two representatives of universities from EU countries and partner universities from the Western Balkans attended the meeting.

15. WESTERN BALKAN INFORMATION LITERACY CONFERENCE, BIHAĆ, BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA

The Western Balkan Information Literacy Conference (WBILC) was held in Bihac (Bosnia and Herzegovina) from 8 to 11 June 2016. The conference was organized by the Limerick Institute of Technology (Ireland) that is also the coordinator of the Erasmus + project Capacity Building in




the Field of Higher Education (CBHE) Project 561987 “Library Network Support Services: Modernizing libraries and the Western Balkan countries through staff development and reforming library services .” Six representative of the University of Sarajevo, members of DWG, LTWG and ESP working groups actively participated in this conference and they presented three papers that were published in the Conference Proceedings.
