LOCAL POEM

THE BEACH

Sun kissed sand,

Waves crashing,

Seagulls laughing

The Beach

Feel the heat dancing on your skin,

Filtering through you,

Penetrating your skin

The Beach

A contradiction between your senses

The cool, cold water lapping you

Surrounding you,

Taking you in with every crashing wave

The Beach

There is an island beyond the horizon

The clear, blue sea surrounding it

The grainy sand behind you

Clinging on to you

The Beach

Close your eyes

Let the heat penetrate you,

The water envelope you

Because slowly

Slowly,

It’s time to leave

IF YOU ONLY KNEW

You sat alone by the moonlight,

Staring and admiring at the stars bright,

You sat by the window until late at night,

Let the wind blow hold your body tight,

Why are you crying my dear?

You shouldn't because I am still here,

From the sky high I could see your cry,

Looking deep into your eyes my lips stuck to say good bye,

Don't cry my darling,

Because my soul is here but only my body is travelling,

There's nothing much I could say,

As your deeds I couldn't repay,

Forgiving you is the only things that can be done,

For all your wrongs that are tiny as none.

NEVER TO FAR

I can see the pain living in you..

though you try hard to conceal..

with your heartwarming smile...

to hide the tormenting sorrows..

Your eyes are shining brightly...

but you are holding the fears..

uncertain of the befalling fate..

Just open up this heart of you,

allow me to fill the emptiness..

Welcome me into your mind...

so I can share your anxieties..

I'm no saviour nor a guardian...

but a man with reaching hands..

Don't you be idled with despair,

I will be there, wherever you go..

No matter where life brings you..

Call my name with open arms..

My soul is never too far away..

for our conscience is a union..

You are to me, my only reason...

I have faith in a truthful solidarity,

in a world of insatiable indulgence,

It's perhaps a sudden twist of fate..

that has brought about our spirits...

to coalesce in an enigmatic circle..

I've sworn my words upon this life..

with the heavens as my beholder...

I shall never be blinded no more...

by all the lusts and gratifications...

proffered to me on a silver platter..

for I found a joyful bliss in you...

A soul of a purest compassion...

SADNESS

Tears are clouding in my eyes...

but still I hear the voices within...

to withhold it from falling in relief..

My heart aches with all torment..

Standing under the foggy shadows..

to endure the cause and effects...

of the harshest consequences...

I hold no sense of pride or dignity..

nor a least flicker of happiness...here in this undesirable existence..

All inscribed upon the lonely star...

That lies at the edge of a dark side..

Distant from the light of blissfulness,

found in the birth of a charming fairy..

I succumb to the voices of morrow..

It overshadows the glimmer of hope..

As I rise to pricking gleams of the sun,

and my visions unsealed to reality...

Facing it's unforgiving wrath again...

As an undying soul bound to drift...

In the realm of eternal sorrow..

I’M SORRY

I'm sorry ,

I lied and hurt ,

I'm didn't mean too,

I'm sorry I disappointed,

Knowing how much you believed in me ,,

Yet,

I failed to succeed,

I did not know you were hurting ,

I didn't think of you ,

Myself was all I cared about ,

I'm sorry ,

I'll try to make it up to you,

I'll try to bring back the sunshine into

your life,
