Weekend outings should be a time to relax and unwind from the past week’s stress and perplexities. We are here to make your dream a reality. Just choose one of our six attractive cabin styles and start making cozy memories!

Our cabins make a pleasant retreat for anyone who wants to “get away” from today’s fast paced lifestyles, slow down a bit, and take in a little nature. Cabins make great places for weekend suites, hunting camps or fishing lodges. They are also great for quiet offices, studios, or places to display hunting trophies. These rustic log cabins are right at home in any natural setting.

We are committed to building your cabin the way you want it! The style, size, and features are for you to choose; but, if you want it quick and easy, just choose one of our well-designed floor plans featured in the center of this brochure.

Some features that make our cabins so cozy are the pine walls and yellow pine flooring finished with natural semigloss urethane, the convenient kitchen and bathroom and the inviting porch. Invite your friends and family–it’s sure to make great memories!

All of our cabin styles are pre-built and delivered to your prepared site. See site preparation and access in the back of this brochure.

Your cabin will be delivered to your location fully assembled and ready to use. These are large buildings and there must be adequate room for access by tractor-trailer. Some of the smallest units can be delivered by pickup truck and trailer. Have an authorized representative do a site inspection to make sure your site is accessible.

Your driveway must be stoned in or free of all mud at time of delivery. Where your driveway is straight, we need an area approximately 2 feet wider than the width of the cabin and 14 feet high. All turns must be cleared to provide sufficient room to maneuver. Your site must be clear of all trees, tree limbs, etc. within the access area.

If your cabin is going on a crushed stone or concrete pad, your cabin will be delivered with a special-built trailer similar to a rollback. The driver will back his rig onto the prepared pad, then tilt the trailer until the rear of the cabin is resting on the pad. He will then drive out from underneath the cabin. There must be adequate room in front of the cabin for the truck to pull straight out. This distance varies with the length of the building: approximately 85 feet to 150 feet; this will vary from one site to another.

If your cabin is going on a crawl-space foundation or basement, you will need a crane area at least 40 feet by 40 feet next to the foundation. This area must be completely clear overhead, including power lines and tree branches, and must be on a decently level grade.

Our 12' - 14' recreational cabins can go on a crushed stone or concrete pad. These buildings are all built on a pressure treated 4" x 4" foundation.

When creating a stone pad, the area must be leveled and raised enough that no run off water will go under the cabin. Put 4" to 6" of crushed stone down–about 1' wider and 1' longer than the actual size of the cabin. Use “dirty” stone (stones with fines in it). Clean stone will not pack hard enough to support the weight. Level your pad with a laser or tape a level to a straight 2" x 4" approximately 12' long. After your stones are leveled, pack it with a plate tamper or by driving your truck, skid loader, etc. over it. Then recheck the pad for level, add stones where needed, and pack the pad again.

For a concrete pad, use approximately 4" to 5" of reinforced concrete on top of 4" of clean crushed stone.

If your cabin has plumbing in it, you will need an access pit. This pit allows your sewer and water to come in below frost level and gives you easy access to connect it. Ask a representative for specifications. The location of this access varies with each floor plan.

All of our cabins can be placed on a crawl space foundation or even a full basement. We recommend this system for any modular cabin and it is a requirement for all homes.

These structures are built with 2" x 8" floor joists (2" x 10" on a 14-foot-wide cabin) and must be placed with a crane. You can supply the crane service or have one of our representatives do it for you. Have a local contractor construct your foundation or basement. We will supply you with the dimensions when you are ready to begin.

We all need a special place in this world. A place where you can leave the hurry of life, hear the birds, watch the sunset from the porch, play with your children, hunt your game, and slowly sip your coffee. This is your place.
