n For each archiving object, it is possible to configure the “Logical FileName”. See below (transaction SARA -> Customizing -> Technical Settingsinside Archiving Object-Specific Customizing):
n This is your task in the preparation, but the Customer (Basis) need to giveyou the “Logical File Name” he wants you to configure in their QA system.

n It may be possible that you need to answer his doubts or even show how toconfigure.
n The “Logical File name” has the archive FILE definition, including the“Logical Path”. This is configured in the transaction FILE – double click in“Logical File Name Definition, Cross-Client”:

n To see the details of an existing “Logical File name” use the icon of Details:
n One of the configurable of the “Logical File name” is the “Logical path”.

n The “Logical path” is also configured in transaction FILE – double click in“Logical File Path Definition”, find or create the “Logical path”.
n Double click in “Assignment of Physical Paths to Logical Path” to seewhich “Physical Path” is associated for each operational system. Select theO.S. and click in the Details button.
