TURKEY FOWL CONTESTFriday November 17

Participants ages 6 and up are invited to take a set of 10 basketball “fowl” shots for $1. Par-ticipants may pay for as many sets of shots as times permits. The winner in each category will be awarded a 15-pound turkey, to be enjoyed on Thanksgiving Day. A $25 gift certificate to a local supermarket will be awarded to the first two peo-ple who make 10 foul shots in a row. So come out and shoot that turkey for Thanksgiving dinner!

Be creative. Each entry must include the child’s name, age, address, and phone number. The top winner in each age category will receive a $20 gift certificate to Toys R Us. Join us for a festive evening of holiday activities for all ages. Highlights of the celebration will in-clude the Methacton Chorale, holiday crafts, and a visit from Santa Claus and his elves. Children will have the chance to have their pictures taken with Santa. The vouchers are offered on a paid basis. The offer is good only while supply of allotted vouch-ers last. Vouchers may be purchased at the Township Building Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:15 p.m. begin-ning immediately. The prices of the tickets are $7.00. DISCOUNT TICKETSDISCOUNT SKI TICKETSThe Department of Parks and Recreation, in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Recreation and Parks Society, will again sell Discount Ski Tickets to selective ski areas this winter. These are tickets, not coupons. They may be purchased at the Township Building, Monday through Fri-day, 8:30 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. beginning in January. Brochures and flyers will be available on the ski resorts, so call the Parks and Recreation office for further information.
