Chess Competition
Two recent inter-school Chess tournaments have proved enjoyable and success-ful for our various chess teams. In our last tournament, the Loreto B team per-
formed extremely well, coming 3rd overall. Well done to Harri-son Herd, Carlos Kussner, Marta and Carlos Chacon Perez and Alec Harbinson. The Loreto A team (Anushree Jain, James Wilson, Michael Bowry, William Beard and Adriana Garcia Martinez) were narrowly beaten into 4th place. Along with the Loreto C team (Louis Bruce, Juan Pablo Linares Mompeon, Yann Collado Lemahieu, Charlotte Scott and Alejandro Pacheco), all the children performed extremely well and enjoyed a Saturday playing in the brand new St. Bernard’s school.
