Love is in the air with some of these great Watermark classes being

offered this month. “Get Inspired with Pinterest” led by Noel where

you will be creating a fun Valentine Wreath. Next Shelley is going

to be taking you on “A Trip Through Paris”. We all know that Paris is

the “City of Love”, it will be exciting to see where Shelley has

ventured. We also cannot forget everyone’s love for food with

Katie’s “One Pot Wonders”! She is going to share her love

for cooking with all of you and better yet, you get to sample the

delicious dish!

however, is warm and

THRIVING! We will be toasty

warm while cheering Super

Bowl LIII on Sunday,

February 3, at 5:00pm. Do we

have any wagers on which

team will win?? Then we will

have our popular Candlelight

Dinner with music by Despina Pafralides on Tuesday, February

12th, at 6:30pm. Finally rounding out the month, we will

be celebrating Valentine's Day with a Valentine's Day Bingo Bash

for prizes on Thursday, February 14 from 1:30-3:00pm. February is

indeed a great month to THRIVE! with The Fountains, where Super

Bowl parties, Candlelight Dinners, Valentine’s Day Bingo Bash, and

friends abound with love and good cheer.

Love is inLove is in

the Air!the Air! You gotta have heart...and we do! We

have a four-chambered organ that

pumps blood through our bodies. We

think of our hearts as the center of

personality, intuition or feeling. "In your

heart, you know ...;" We place our hand

over it when we pledge allegiance to

the flag. We find solace in a heartfelt

embrace, an honest conversation is a

"heart-to-heart", a difficult conversation

as "breaking my heart." When conveying

the truth, we say, “I cross my heart and

hope to die”. As we age, the word

"heart" seems to be used more

frequently in overcoming cardiac

challenges and discussions about the

need to change eating habits to

something more "heart-healthy." But,

let’s “get to the heart” of this

conversation…and ”follow your heart”!

Path to Well-Being

February is the month of love, and we are seeing plenty of it here with our

many couples who are celebrating 55+ years of marriage! Grant and

Marybeth Prather are one of them, who have been together for 57 years.

They met their junior year in high school during gym class, where they

were on opposite teams for their co-ed volleyball team. They got married in

June of 1962, and have been happily married and now have 2 sons, 8 grand

kids, and 5 great grandchildren! Through the years they have “adopted”

many families along the way and have people they consider their family all

across the USA. According to the Prather’s, their key to a long and lasting

relationship is to “have a sense of humor, and not to take life to seriously.”

Make sure you take a trip down the tunnel of love and see the wedding

photo of the Prather’s, as well as many other residents here!
