Currently it is the leading company in Mexico and in the destination wedding market. LOVE MEXICO was launched in March 2009 In the City of New York with the support of the Mexico Tourism Board. It started as a one day event where supply and demand of the Romance segment come together to generate business and attract romance related events to Mexico. That same year, as a follow up to the event in New York, the LOVE MEXICO Riviera Maya event was held at the Barcelo Maya Palace with the support of the Trust of the Riviera Maya and major associations of the wedding segment such as ABC and AFWPI. The operation of the LOVE MEXICO events consist of an educational program with relevant topics to facilitate attendees (wedding planners and travel agents mostly from the U.S. and Canada) to propose and carry out weddings in Mexico, as well as prescheduled appointments with Mexican companies for destinations, hotels, DMC's, tour operators, photographers, designers and professional wedding planners. Destination weddings in our country are very important because they have an economic impact of more than $ 45 million, this being mainly generated by the U.S. market. In 2010 MEXICOWED decides to make a LOVE MEXICO event in Los Angeles, creating the tradition of three annual events. The “Love Mexico Destination Wedding Specialist” certificate is launched with the support of the Association for Wedding Professional International in order to promote the growing market for destination weddings and romance within our country. This program is an innovative training with educational sessions and marketing tools designed to sell Mexico as an ideal destination for weddings. In the same year LOVE MEXICO organized a destination wedding photo contest in conjunction with AFWPI (Association for Wedding Professional International) in which spectacular locations for weddings were shot in XelHa, Xplor, and other hotels in the Riviera Maya. An innovative event was created Inside Love Mexico NY 2010, called Love Mexico Bridal & Honeymoon Expo in Saks 5th Avenue, a new way for brides who are looking for a destination for their wedding. In 2011, LOVE MEXICO develops two important partnerships: one with Travel Impressions to boost attendance and training of travel agents specializing in destination weddings and other with the ABC (Association for Wedding Consultants) to carry out the Latin American Congress of Destination Wedding that took place that year in Playa del Carmen just before Love Mexico. LOVE MEXICO received the Desti Award in 2012 awarded by "Destination Weddings.com" as the best event in the industry. DestinationWeddings.com is a leading company in the segment and 8 out of 10 weddings they organize, are carried out in Mexico.

In  the  same  year  we  launched  Mexico  Romantico  in  Cancun  with  the  support  of  the  Cancun  OCV,  an  intensive  workshop  for  wedding  professionals  to  develop  their  "Mexico  Signature  Wedding".  

MexicoWed  events  have  been  honored  to  receive  top-­‐level  speakers  such  as  Tracy  French  (CEO  of  The  French  Connection,  star  in  the  show  "Whose  Wedding  Is  It  Anyway  and  Married  Away?"),  Linnyette  Richardson,  the  Wedding   Diva,   Susana   Palazuelos   (events   guru   in   Mexico),   Colin   Cowie   (Wedding   planner,   television  personality  and  writer)  among  many  others.
