Reliability and performance with Direct-Rack - Siemens’ low-voltage replacement solutions feature our Direct- Rack design, allowing the new circuit breaker to rack directly to the existing equipment’s original primary bus. The Direct-rack design utilizes the primary contact, thus mitigating heat generation that can result when intermediary contacts are used. Intermediary contacts and associated heat generation can create points of maintenance and failure. Standardized design - Siemens utilizes the proven WL power circuit breaker as the core operator, main contacts, and accessories for our complete family of over 90 different low-voltage replacement circuit breaker designs, reducing spare parts and training requirements. With over one million WL circuit breakers sold worldwide, the WL family offers virtually unlimited configuration capabilities, setting an industry precedent for modularity. Fully type-tested - All low-voltage replacement circuit breaker solutions are designed, manufactured, and tested to IEEE Std C37.59, ANSI C37.50, and ANSI/ IEEE Std C37.13. Communications - Siemens’ solutions can be equipped with a communications module and integrated into higher-level energy management systems through PROFINET IO, Modbus, Modbus TCP, or PROFIBUS communications. Trip units for all applications - Siemens offers analog, ETU745, ETU748, and ETU776 trip units. Reliable Siemens’ design offers increased operations and the Extended Instantaneous Protection function allowing 100% of the full withstand rating of the frame and still providing the ability of the breaker to be applied up to the maximum interrupting rating. Highly accurate internal Rogowski CTs allow for precision protection and metering – saving money on down time, field service, and increased customer satisfaction.

Easy-to-use The ease-of-use – from integrated racking handles, pull- apart, front-mounted terminal blocks, and simple selection and application tools – reduces installation time and errors, adds flexibility, and minimizes training.

Modular and flexible The modularity and flexibility of front-mounted, common plug-in accessories, field upgradable trip units, and field changeable contacts and arc chutes reduce inventory, allow for last-minute adaptations, support quick-ship opportunities, forgive changes, and support the most cost-effective configuration.
