The purpose of this Master Parts Manual is to givea record of the parts used on Lister-Petter LPWGengines together with alterations and modifications thathave been effected.

This edition primarily includes Builds 27 and 28, asadditional builds are introduced they will be included infuture editions.

Due to continued development and improvement itis quite possible that a part purchased may notcompletely resemble that illustrated. Not all items areillustrated and if an item is listed without a part numberit is only available as part of an assembly. Although apart number may be shown, the item may not beavailable on its own but as an assembly. Items that areshown indented under an entry are included in, andform part of an assembly.

To help the user identify parts, most lists have anillustration with the individual parts given the same itemnumber reference as appears in the list. Care shouldbe taken to ensure the correct illustration is beingreferred to.

Replacement parts should be ordered by quotingthe part number, not the illustration item number, andthe engine serial number.

Each engine has a unique serial number which isstamped on a plate fitted below the oil filter on thecrankcase door. It is necessary for this serial numberto be identified before using this manual to ensure thepart being requested is correct for the particular engine.

WARNINGParts that have not been approved for use on LPWG enginescannot be relied upon for correct material, dimensions orfinish.

WARNINGUnauthorised adjustments to emission compliant gasequipment may invalidate warranty claims.In the USA, unauthorised adjustment of emission criticalcomponents is prohibited by Federal Law, incurring civilpenalty.

Das vorliegende Master Parts Handbuch soll eineAufzeichnungsmöglichkeit für Ersatzteile bieten, die inLister-Petter LPWG-Motoren eingebaut wurden, undÄnderungen und Modifikationen an denselbenfesthalten.

Diese Ausgabe konzentriert sich besonders aufBaumodelle 27 und 28. Weitere Modell werden inzukünftigen Ausgaben vorgestellt werden.

Aufgrund von fortwährender Weiterentwicklung undVerbesserung ist es durchaus möglich, daß einerworbenes Ersatzteil dem hier abgebildeten Teil nichtgenau gleicht. Nicht alle Teile sind hier abgebildet, undwenn ein Teil ohne dazugehörige Teilenummerabgebildet ist, dann ist es nur als Teil einer Montageerhältlich. Obwohl vielleicht eine Teilenummer für einsolches Teil angezeigt ist, ist es trotzdem nicht einzeln,sondern nur als Teil einer Montage erhältlich. Teile, dieunter einer Hauptüberschrift und untergeordnetaufgeführt werden, stellen einen Teil einer Montage darund sind nicht einzeln erhältlich.

Jeder Motor hat seine eigene Seriennummer, dieauf einem am Motor befindlichen Schild unterhalb desÖlfilters auf der Tür des Kurbelgehäuses angebrachtist. Diese Seriennummer muß vor Anwendung diesesHandbuchs identifiziert werden, um die Bestellung derrichtigen Ersatzteile für den jeweiligen Motor zuversichern.
