MAPPING Art & Walking as lands learn experience.

Mapping, is a container divided by severals art project, focus on walking and perception of

landscapes. Walking is empirical form of discovering spaces, measuring with the land and

analysis of time. Perception is an exercise to stimulate the imagination, the faculty to think what is

still not exist or changing the existent.

The landscapes is the wild space where atmosphere and natural phenomena change

radically land’s aspect, over the time; it is also a wild territory where people operate,

activate and generate stories within. In turn, every land becomes unique storyteller.

Mapping project is based on the relationship between two words: Now and Here and the juxtaposition of them in the word NowHere. Most of Mapping project start from the

verication of atmosphere and social datas, topography and geography shape.

Formally, Mapping, consist of photographies projects, lms and magazine. The formal aspect

centrality is made by images. The image (static or movie) is the major landscapes storyteller. In the

movies, works is completed by soundscapes, both help audience to be part of the stories.

Mapping project start from the living on uncertainty path, in a constantly changing and adapting

to living on severals places. By this way, art research becomes a “x point”or  Everything in its right

place or a “black hole” re-ll by experience done and income.

The Mapping project goal is re-design a visual map of landscapes from experience point of view

in order to analyze landscapes and communities.

2013 flm 30’ This is a lm about William Blake’s Jerusalem (And did those feet in ancient

time) revisited in personal and contemporary key.

The poem was inspired by the apocryphal story that a young Jesus, accompanied by

his uncle Joseph of Arimathea, a tin merchant, travelled to what is now England and

visited Glastonbury during the unknown years of Jesus. The legend describing a Se-

cond Coming, wherein Jesus establishes a new Jerusalem. Jerusalem is a metaphor for

Heaven, a place of universal love and peace.

The Jerusalem Cacophonia/1 is a lm about a travel to an hypothetical Jerusa-

lem, (place of utopia) in order to nd a own place in this “dark” world. Images

and Imaginations are the protagonists of the lm and they lead us along the

    travel.

The trip follow a Blake’s hypothetical path. In the lm, most of landscapes, refer

to places featured in the Blake’s poem.
