MISUSE OF CYBER CAFES AMONG SCHOOL STUDENT IN PENANG.
INTRODUCTION
The existence of centers of cyber cafes is in line with the development of Internet technology is developing so rapidly at this time.
Internet is among the most useful tool for a variety of recent sources of information from around the world without restrictions of time and place.
However the misuse of cyber cafes among school student at present became increasingly.
BACKGROUND INFORMATION
Most school student play truant. Decrease the image of the school. Lack of focus during the learning sessions
conducted in schools.
STATEMENT OF PROBLEM
Many parents now began to express concern for their children, especially among students less time keeping, and keep surfing the internet or playing games in the centers of cyber cafes.
The students do not realize that the actions taken by them will be almost caused decreased of their learning performance.
PURPOSE / OBJECTIVE
Examine to what extent the students spend their time in the center of cyber cafe.
Identify the activities performed by the students in cyber cafes.
To identify the root causes of students were often in cyber café
To suggest ways to curb the problem.
RESEARCH QUESTIONS
What are the causes? What are the effects? What are the solution?
SIGNIFICANCE OF THE STUDY
This study hoped to provide an overview of the activities of students who frequent the café center to parents, the entrepreneur and the authorities.
The results of this study will provide an effective solution due to the problem.
SCOPE
This study involved only three cyber cafes in the area of Bayan Baru, Penang.
Therefore, these findings do not reflect the overall phenomenon of school children in this country on the use of cyber cafes.
