What is the reason you joined Vodafone as a graduate?

I wanted a taste of different career pathways, which is why the Discover Program appealed to me.

What advice do you have for other graduates applying for a graduate position?

Get stuck into the application process. Be confident about what you can offer, not only what they can offer you.

What opportunities have you had while at Vodafone?

There are opportunities anywhere you want them at Vodafone - from courses to volunteering, if there is something that you want to do, Vodafone can probably help you to do it.

Who at Vodafone inspired you? Malia from the customer care team presented to us during our induction. I found her passion and

commitment truly inspiring. The Enterprise Engagement team have also been fantastic, I can’t

“When you’re learning from and being encouraged by the most talented people in the business,

you want to give your absolute best.”

What has been your biggest achievement at Vodafone?

Winning the World of Difference Business Unit Challenge last year. I helped my business unit to run

events that raised the most amount of money for our chosen charity. Victory was made sweeter by knowing

that my efforts went towards a great cause!

What is your favourite part of working at Vodafone?

I love how people never hesitate to take time from their busy schedules to help me learn new things, which makes me feel like my learning is a priority.

What is the reason you joined Vodafone as a graduate?

Vodafone is really unique in that we have business and technology teams working under the same roof.

I felt like this kind of environment would allow me to develop a wider range of skills.

What opportunities have you had while at Vodafone

I’ve had roles in Direct Sales which was customer facing, HR where I helped run the graduate recruitment

campaign, and now Technology where I am working on the redesign of the Vodafone website.

What advice do you have for other graduates applying

for a graduate position?Be yourself! You want to be a good fit for the company,

also for the company to be a good fit for you.

Who are some of the people at Vodafone who have inspired you?

My previous manager was so enthusiastic, energetic and hardworking. She balanced being a career woman and a mum so well, and you can tell it’s a real passion

for what she is doing that keeps her going.

Where do you see your career in five years.

I’d like to be a people leader, and maybe even working with Vodafone overseas.
