Canada. In 2009 werd de vestiging JV Energy Soluti-

ons Inc. in Kingsville (Ontario) Canada geopend. Van

hieruit wordt zowel de Canadese als Amerikaanse markt

bediend.

Offi cieel bestaat Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek

B.V., zoals ons bedrijf sinds 2005 offi cieel heet, in

2012 tachtig jaar.

Dat Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek sprankelt als nooit

tevoren en nieuwe initiatieven van spotlights wil voorzien,

is de échte aanleiding voor het uitbrengen van deze

brochure.

Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek is een advies-, ontwerp-

en installatiebedrijf met als specialisme klimaatbeheer-

The in-house repair team of Voshol Warmte-Elektrotech-

niek is ready to give customers a helping hand 24 hours a

day, 7 days a week, and thus guarantees them continuity

in the production processes. This continuity is further

reinforced by the fact that Voshol is also a very solid

company from a fi nancial point of view.

Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek not only operates in

the Netherlands, but it is also active in Eastern Europe,

China, United States and Canada. In 2009, the JV Energy

Solutions Inc. division was opened in Kingsville (Ontario),

Canada. This makes it possible to cater for the Canadian

and American markets.

2012 marked the eightieth anniversary of Voshol

Warmte-Elektrotechniek B.V., which is the offi cial

name of our company since 2005.

The real reason for releasing this brochure can be attribu-

ted to Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek’s ever increasing

success and its desire to place various new initiatives in

the spotlight.

Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek is a company that deals

with advice, design and systems, and specialises in

climate control in sectors ranging from greenhouse

cultivation to home and industrial construction. Innova-

tion is a challenge that we meet head-on. In our daily

activities, we have often proven that practical solutions

can perfectly compliment cost control, sustainability and

reliability. When doing so, we are able to create seamless

interaction between custom-made solutions and the va-

rious disciplines in which we specialise - Heat, Electrics,

Insulation and Industry.

Our area of expertise is not the only avenue we explore

when searching for result-oriented applications. We also

place great emphasis on knowing who we are working

for. This involves giving priority to customers, processes

and/or users.

dat vanzelfsprekend ook installeert, is gespecialiseerd

in advies, subsidieaanvragen, aankoop en installatie

van zonnepanelen en aanverwante onderdelen als-

mede warmtepompen en overige duurzame energie-

opwekkende producten.

Voshol Warmte en Elektrotechniek werd op 1 juli

1932 opgericht als besloten vennootschap. De

huidige directeur Jan Voshol is hier al vanaf 1980

werkzaam. Begonnen als monteur kocht hij in 1995

vijftig procent van de aandelen. Na een aantal jaren

van gezamenlijke bedrijfsvoering nam Jan Voshol

het resterende aandelenpakket over. Sindsdien

groeide zijn bedrijf stevig.

Tegenwoordig is er ook een Canadese vestiging, JV

Energy Solutions genaamd. Deze vestiging werkt weer

nauw samen met het in Noord-Amerika gevestigde

Havecon. Canadese en Amerikaanse telers maken

namelijk graag gebruik van Nederlandse knowhow

en innovaties. De Voshol technieken worden dan ook

succesvol ingezet.

In Nederland is het op duurzame energie gerichte

adviesbureau Voshol Energy opgericht. Voshol Energy,

In 2003 wordt Jan Voshol voor honderd procent

aandeelhouder van de besloten vennootschap. De

oorspronkelijke bezetting van twaalf medewerkers ver-

dubbelt in deze beginjaren jaarlijks. Tegenwoordig telt

Voshol circa vijftig medewerkers. Een tiental daarvan

is werkzaam in de Canadese vestiging in Kingsville

(Ontario).

In 2004 wordt een begin gemaakt met de bouw van

een eigen bedrijfspand op bedrijventerrein De Hoef-

slag te Bleiswijk.

In 2005 wordt het huidige pand aan de Lorentzstraat

1 in Bleiswijk in gebruik genomen. De bedrijfsnaam

wordt statutair gewijzigd in Voshol Warmte-Elektro-

techniek B.V. Al snel wordt duidelijk dat er behoefte

is aan meer opslagruimte. Daartoe wordt in ditzelfde

jaar een deel van de naastliggende grond aange-

kocht.

In 2001 verhuist het bedrijf van de Noordeindseweg te

Berkel en Rodenrijs naar bedrijventerrein Weg en Land

te Bergschenhoek.

HISTORISCHE MIJLPALEN OP EEN RIJTJE

Op de aangekochte grond wordt (ook in 2006) een

gelijksoortig pand tegen het bestaande gebouw

aangebouwd. In dit nieuwe pand begint Voshol de

afdeling Isolatie. Het nieuwe gebouw biedt tevens

ruimte voor de opslag en assemblage van isolatie-

producten.

In 2007 koopt Voshol een tweetal kavels op bedrij-

venterrein De Hoefslag aan de van ’t Hoffstraat in

Bleiswijk.

Op de kersvers aangekochte kavels aan de Van ’t

Hoffstraat wordt in 2008 een tweetal gespiegelde

panden gebouwd. Een van deze panden wordt

verhuurd.

In 2009 wordt het naastliggende kavel op de locatie

Van ’t Hoffstraat (tot aan de slootkant) door Voshol

aangekocht. Aan het bestaande gebouw wordt een

extra opslagruimte gebouwd. 2009 is ook het jaar

waarin Voshol start met Voshol Energy, een besloten

vennootschap die zich richt op duurzame energie.

Sinds 2009 is Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek ook

actief via het in Kingsville Ontario (Canada) geves-

tigde JV Energy Solutions Inc. JV Energy Solutions

Inc. richt zich op de bevordering van duurzame

energie in de glastuinbouw (én daarbuiten) in

Noord-Amerika. Vanaf 2013 wordt gewerkt vanuit

een nieuw bedrijfspand.

Voshol Warmte en Elektrotechniek was founded

as a private company on 1 July 1932 and current

director, Jan Voshol, has worked here since 1980.

Having started out as an engineer, he purchased

fi fty percent of the shares in 1995. After a few

years of shared business operations, Jan Voshol

also acquired the remaining shares package. Since

then, the company has experienced signifi cant

growth.

Nowadays, there is even a division in Canada - JV

Energy Solutions. This division in-turn closely collabo-

rates with North America-based Havecon. Canadian

and American growers like to make use of Dutch

know-how and innovation, whereby the techniques of

Voshol are also implemented successfully.

In the Netherlands, Voshol Energy has been founded

as a consultancy company focusing on sustainable

energy. Voshol Energy, which also performs installation

activities, specialises in advice, subsidy applications,

the acquisition and installation of solar panels and re-

lated components, as well as heating pumps and other

products that generate sustainable energy.

History

In 2001, the company moved from the Noordeindseweg

in Berkel en Rodenrijs to the Weg en Land industrial site

in Bergschenhoek.

In 2003, Jan Voshol became 100% shareholder in the

private company. In the fi rst few years, the initial num-

ber of employees (12) doubled year on year. Currently,

Voshol employs circa fi fty people, with ten of them

working at the division in Kingsville (Ontario), Canada.

In 2004, work started on the construction of our own

business premises at De Hoefslag industrial site in

Bleiswijk.

In 2005, the company moved into the current premises

at Lorentzstraat 1 in Bleiswijk. The company name was

also legally changed to Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek

B.V. It then quickly became apparent that more storage

space was needed. As a result, the adjoining plot of

land was purchased in the same year.

The purchased ground was used to construct (still in

2006) a similar building against the existing premises.

Voshol used the new premises to set up the Insulation

department, with the building also offering space for the

storage and assembly of insulation products.

In 2007, Voshol purchased a couple of plots at De Hoef-

slag industrial site at the Van ’t Hoffstraat in Bleiswijk.

In 2008, two mirrored premises were built on the newly

acquired plots at the Van ’t Hoffstraat. One of these

buildings is being rented out.

In 2009, the plot next to the site at the Van ’t Hof-

fstraat (up to the ditch) was also purchased by Voshol.

The existing building was extended to include storage

space. 2009 was also the year when Voshol launched

Voshol Energy, which is a private company specialising

in sustainable energy.

Since 2009, Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek has also

been active via Kingsville-based JV Energy Solutions

Inc. (Canada). JV Energy Solutions Inc. focuses on the

promotion of sustainable energy in the greenhouse cul-

tivation sector (and beyond) in North America. Work will

be carried out from new business premises as of 2013.

What distinguishes Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek

from competitors is the company’s very broad area of

specialisation. “Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek not

only provides specialised tailor-made solutions for heat

and electrical systems in greenhouse cultivation, home

building and industrial construction sectors, but we also

manage to amass a wealth of experience in the instal-

lation of bio-gas systems.And last but not least, Voshol

Warmte–Elektrotechniek is also involved in alternative,

sustainable energy sources like wind and solar energy,

biomass, energy storage and heating pumps. We are

(HNT). We are thus definitely a total supplier in this

Een juiste temperatuurbeheersing is van het

Voshol Warmtetechniek verzorgt al jaren geavan-

ceerde kasverwarmingssystemen, CO2 installaties,

installaties voor warmtekrachtkoppeling, warmte- kou-

deopslag, koelinstallaties en ketelhuissystemen. Naast

advies, ontwerp op maat en de oplevering / installatie,

Ook in systemen voor Het Nieuwe Telen loopt Voshol

Warmtetechniek voorop. Door een gecontroleerde

luchtcirculatie te realiseren, wordt een gelijkmatiger

klimaat gecreëerd. Resultaat: geen kou- en vocht-

problemen meer, effectiever in gebruik en een hogere

teeltopbrengst.

fully installed under the watchful eye of our professionals,

techniek’s long-standing record of international success.

In order to (further) improve the service offered to the Canadian and American markets, Voshol founded, together with

Patrick Voortman, a division in Kingsville (Ontario, Canada) in 2009, which bears the name JV Energy Solutions Inc.

Thanks to the long-standing experience/expertise of parent company Voshol Warmte-Elektrotechniek in the green-

house cultivation sector, supplemented by the knowledge of Patrick Voortman, the mission of JV Energy Inc. is to

promote the use of sustainable energy in this sector in North America.

The greenhouse cultivation sector in that part of the world is still in the infancy stage of a large-scale renewal process.

However, increasing competition is forcing growers to adopt more effi cient approaches. As a result, many of the out-

dated systems are being replaced by the latest techniques from the Netherlands.

JV Energy Solutions Inc. also strongly focuses on services relating to burner maintenance. Patrick Voortman has many

years of experience in this fi eld on the worldwide stage and service engineers possess all necessary qualifi cations. In

addition, JV Energy Solutions Inc. has established a training course to teach young employees about the fi ner details
