My name is Mahalia Jayne Dobson and I am a freelance journalist with a Bachelor of Communication (Journalism) with Distinction from RMIT University. I currently work as a Producer on ABC News Breakfast and 774 ABC Melbourne radio. I also work part-time as an auto-cue operator at the Australian Broadcasting Corporation. In conjunction with my TV and radio work, I also have experience writing and editing print and online media. I have interned at a variety of media organisations including, Crikey, 774 ABC Melbourne radio, ABC News Breakfast and Channel Ten Eyewitness News. I have also written for The Age, Catalyst magazine, City Journal and contributed and presented news and current affairs yarns for SYN 90.7 and C31.
