Mailer Reserve playspace upgrade 2020 Draft Concept Plan March 2020 Draft Concept Design for Mailer Reserve Playspace Council is planning to upgrade the playspace at Mailer Reserve, 325C Moreland Road, near Haig Avenue in Coburg this year. This draft concept plan provides a native bushland themed space aimed at young children including: a timber sculpture of a native animal, a junior combination unit with slides, tunnel and climbing elements, a cubby house with wonky mirror and bead game and a see saw. As the existing swing is in good condition it will be retained and repainted as part of the works. The colour theme will reﬂect eucalypt colours from leaves, bark and ﬂowers. The playspace will have additional tree planting around it to create a cosier space. Fencing in front of the playspace will be replaced with pool-type fencing with a pull-up gate for entry. There will be no removal of trees as part of these works. The proposal aims to improve this local playspace which is restricted by underground service easements through the reserve, the red dashed lines on the plan indicate the offset buffers required for these services.
