The Rustik Australian Hardwood is sourced from sustainable forestry resources as well as housingand commercial development sites. The timber used is generally unsuitable for standard timberprocessing so is up-cycled for recreational developments.

Structurally strong and aesthetically pleasing, these beautiful timbers carry a 15-year structuralwarranty to ensure they are a part of the community playspace for years to come.

Master-craftsman built on location, each Rustik unit is individually engineered to respondorganically to the site and to suit each unique structural timber piece.

Several Rustik configurations incorporate stainless steel, offering a different visual and tactileexperience for users. Low maintenance and incredibly durable, the stainless steel appearsorganically formed as part of the structure itself.

Created to encourage non-prescribed play, each of the Rustik pieces offers an array ofclimbing, height and exploration opportunities, allowing multiple children to build theirstrength and skill in a socially inclusive environment.

The Rustik Australian hardwood isrecovered from high-quality

timber resources throughdevelopment land clearing andsustainable forestry practices.

SUSTAINABLE

Although a time-consumingprocess, the timber has the sapwood (outer layer) removed toexpose the heartwood, which is

then sealed and coloured to reveala beautifully finished, durable

timber element.

UNIQUEStructurally strong and

aesthetically pleasing, everytimber is unique. Multiple surfacecolours and finishes are available

to enhance the natural grain.

Although every precaution is taken in the preparation of the timber, it must be rememberedthat timber is a natural product, reactive to the climatic conditions to which it is exposed. Tomeet this demanding environment, it is imperative that timber is inspected regularly andmaintained to ensure protective coatings are kept in premium condition. Rustik purchases areconstructed complete with a complimentary 2-year maintenance programme, includinginspections, treatments and coatings.

Stainless steel arches and connections will need to be cleaned and inspected as part of a regularsix-monthly maintenance schedule. Specialist stainless steel spray-on treatments are availableto ensure the finish remains in pristine condition.

Ropes should be inspected 1 month after initial installation and may require re-tensioning andre-tightening of fasteners. In areas of heavy use, increased inspection/maintenance of theequipment may be required.

Operational inspections must be carried out every 3 months as detailed in the ManagementSystem provided on handover, in line with the requirements set out in AS4685.0:2017.

MAINTENANCE

15-Year Performance Guarantee for Class 1Sustainably Derived Australian Hardwood

20-Year Limited Warranty for all steel columnsagainst structural failure.

12-Month Limited Warranty on any rope partthat shows premature wearing due tosubstandard manufacture of the ropes.

This warranty does not include protectivecoatings or any cosmetic issues including wearand tear from normal use.

Please note that the net must be maintainedand periodically re-tensioned in accordancewith the instruction manual supplied with thenet. Normal Wear and Tear would include wearon the fibres of the net cables from users'shoes. Playscape Creations will repair or replace(at our discretion) any part which has amechanical fault for the useable lifetime of theproduct.

This warranty does not include any cosmetic issuesor wear and tear from normal use, nor from poormaintenance, neglect or misuse. Nor does it applywhere damage is caused by Acts of Nature, such assevere storms, cyclones, floods, airborne debris, orground movement.
