General maintenance and safety

To keep the Pitchglaze in good working order please observe the following points:

• Do not walk or sit on the unit• A general inspection should be carried out on the unit wherever possible at least once every 6 months. • Keep the frame clear of general dirt and debris.• Do not use any abrasives or aggressive cleaners on the painted framework or glass of the unit as this

mayaffectthefinishes.

Cleaning

There should be no water ponding anywhere on the product when installed correctly. Any standard glass-cleaning product can be used to clean the glass unit. However take care not to use abrasive materials or cleanersasthismayaffecttheunitanditsfinish.Theframeworkoftheunitcanbecleanedusingwarmsoapywaterwithasoftlintfreecloth.

A warranty document will be provided with the Pitchglaze or you can download from our website at:

In the event of a breakage

In the unlikely event of a glass breakage, due to the unique method of bonding the glass unit into the frame, a new Pitchglaze would need to be supplied. Glass breakage is not covered in the product warranty unless the damage is a direct result of Glazing Vision Limited or its product failing. In the event of the glass being damaged please contact Glazing Vision for assistance.

All standard glass used in Glazing Vision products is toughened safety glass which is designed to fragment into smaller less harmfulpiecesifbroken,glassspecificationscomply with all UK Building Regulations.

There are no hazardous materials used in the construction of the Pitchglaze unit. When disposing of the unit, please recycle wherever possible.
