1.) An image of featured artist is used for main cover image. I usedthis image as it shows the artist face and gives a grungy look to the
cover because of the way he is sitting.
2.) A box for barcode, price, magazine email and issue date/no.added in the bottom right corner. I also added the magazine logo
to the box to make the logo recognisable to readers.
3.) The magazine logo and masthead were added in top third. I didthis to advertise the magazine title and added the logo so the
magazine would have a recognisable emblem.
4.) Other cover images of the artists added in bottom leftcorner to show readers what other music/bands they can
read about inside.

5.) I added boxes and text to annotate the smaller cover images.
This shows readers who the bands included in the magazine are
and advertises their music.
6.) The main cover line for cover artist was added and I made sure
it gave a snippet of what the main article was going to be about. I
also added the with artist name above the cover line to show
which artist is being featured.
7.) The rest of the cover lines were added to show what the
magazine contains and give the readers more idea about what
type of magazine TOP ROCK is.

Double-Page Spread
1.) For the background of the double-page spread I
have used a dark teal colour to keep to the grungydark theme running throughout the magazine.
2.) I added boxes the border the images and article. They are coloured brown and black to keep same
colour scheme and they also stand out against the
background colour. In the top left corner I have
made a border for the text FEATURED so that
readers know this is the main artist featured on the
cover of the magazine.

Double-Page Spread
3.) I have made my masthead in the centre of the page to
catch attention and made the text outlined in white so
that it stands out from the background. I also added the
TOP ROCK logo in the corner to keep readers
recognising the magazines logo.
4.) I place the main artist images in the centre of the
pages so that it is the first thing readers see. Theimages fit well with my grungy theme and portray
the artists style. I have used a smaller image in the
bottom right corner showing a bit about the
personal life of the artist.

Double-Page Spread
5.) This is the final double-page spread and I have added the article into the blackboxes around the images and I have also added a caption under the smaller images to
explain more about the artist. I made sure that I added a caption for the main images
telling the readers who the photography/article author was. The text is kept in white
to stand out against the dark colour scheme and be more eye-catching.
