At Damovo, our entire business is focused on making your organisation more efficient. We understand that every staff member has a vital role to play, and we want to help you make each one of them as effective and productive as they can possibly be.

Yes, of course, underneath it all we’re a technology company - but over the years we’ve evolved from what might be termed a systems integrator or an ICT provider. We know from talking to our clients that it’s not really about the individual elements that we bring together to create a solution. Instead, in a world of converging technologies that now extends way beyond the workplace, it’s all about giving your staff the right tools at their fingertips - the tools that will enable them to communicate, collaborate, consult, debate, decide, delegate and even disagree, via any device and from any location.

In summary, this is what makes us different:

• A deep understanding of our clients’ needs• Highly experienced, qualified, professional

people• Dedicated to an outstanding client experience• Best-of-breed technology• Commitment to quality standards and

compliance

In order to grow in the current climate, enterprises have to be innovative in developing new products or services, so that they can attract new customers and retain existing ones. And to do this profitably, that means improving the efficiency of every staff member.

Damovo’s communication solutions are designed individually for each client, with these business imperatives in mind at all times. Once we understand what you need to achieve from a commercial perspective - whether that’s cost efficiency, competitive advantage, business growth, operational efficiency or compliance - our highly skilled consultants and engineers can bring together the key elements, to design a solution that will truly make the difference to your business.

Our clients trust us to work with them in partnership, recommending bespoke technology solutions that address the key business imperatives which will help them to grow and to become more profitable. We have more than 35 years of experience in this field and our pedigree is clear:

• We have 600 loyal UK client organisations of all sizes and from all sectors across 5,000+ sites, supporting over 600,000 users, and counting!

• Our laboratory and pre-staging facilities reduce risk by ensuring that new solutions are fully tried and tested before going live.

• We have a strong ethos in providing support and project delivery, aligned to ISO Standards.

• We provide around the clock support to more than 600 major UK companies, resolving around 4,500 client support requests each month.

• Our proactive monitoring and support of our clients’ environments enables us to provide solutions to problems before they are recognised.

Why Damovo?

The Department of Communities and Local Government needed to reduce its operating costs, and was able to do this by 21.5%, through flexible remote working and increased staff mobility . . .

“The Damovo solution definitely ‘ticked all of the boxes’ at tender stage and has gone on to prove itself completely.”

The communication landscape

Communication now goes way beyond telephone calls and emails into the world of Video, Instant Messaging, Conferencing, Presence Management and so on - all available, of course, via any fixed or mobile device, in a truly ‘unified’ way.

People no longer expect to have to sit at a desk in order to work effectively. Instead they want to communicate in the same way that they would when not at work, using smartphones, tablets and other devices - and often ones that are not necessarily company issued. It’s what analysts call the ‘consumerisation’ of IT. The business challenge therefore is to make this possible, in a secure and seamless manner.

‘Unified Communication and Collaboration’ is key to everything that we do. But what does that really mean? With the ultimate aim of making your business more profitable, it means making valuable staff even more efficient and productive. The best way to do that is to enable them to communicate more effectively, in a way and at a time that suits them.

Pertemps merged two businesses in the UK and Australia, creating a set of very unique communications challenges . . .

“Damovo are a trusted partner and the solution which they recommended has been very beneficial for us. It speeds up productivity enormously and gives us very genuine business benefits. The executive teams within the UK and Australia need to communicate not only for things like board or budget meetings, but also for ad hoc meetings and conversations about day to day business issues.”

Leading business analysts MZA recently stated that “Business will continue to be cautious over technology investment unless clear cost and business benefit is demonstrable.”

Our extensive experience across different industry sectors and business types has shown this to be true, and we tailor our approach accordingly:

• We think about your business issues first and the technology second.

• Our sales staff are all trained to analyse your needs, then use their knowledge and experience to build the appropriate solution.

• We understand that your organisation won’t invest in communications technology without a sound commercial reason.

We then work with our clients as a trusted partner, helping them to address five key business drivers:

• Cost Efficiency • Competitive Advantage • Business Growth • Operational Efficiency • Compliance

Our approach

Learndirect wanted to enhance the online learning experience and make its services available to even more people in order to support business growth . . .

“We chose to work with Damovo because, unlike the other providers we spoke to, they proposed a solution tailor-made for our needs. They also asked the questions no-one else thought to ask, which demonstrated that they really understood our business.”

How we do it

CASE STUDY

We work with our clients as a trusted partner, helping them to address their key business drivers and imperatives. The technology which each organisation needs in order to address one or more of these issues will be different in every case.

Our role is to fully understand what you need to achieve, in order to grow and to be more profitable, and then to build a unique solution which makes that possible. Whether Unified Communications and Collaboration, Data Networking and/or Managed Connectivity, we make this happen using our 35 years of experience and our deep technical knowledge. Working with best-of-breed vendor partners, we source and deliver the most appropriate technology and services.

Technology underpins everyone’s ability to communicate and to work effectively when not physically in the same room. This in turn creates operational and cost efficiency, leading to competitive advantage and ultimately business growth.

North Lincolnshire Council needed to communicate more efficiently with a wide variety of audiences and demonstrate to the Government that it was meeting the targets laid out . . . “We view Damovo as a partner. They are knowledgeable and helpful. The solutions they provide are definitely helping us to meet our customer service targets.”

Using our years of experience and our knowledge of what works, we have developed a five stage process which covers every aspects of a project. These stages are:

• Consultancy – understanding your unique business needs and how these translate into technology requirements.

• Design – developing a bespoke solution which is aligned to your business imperatives.

• Transition – implementation of new technologies and migration of existing services and contracts where relevant.

• Support – not just fixing problems quickly and efficiently, but also carrying out proactive monitoring and resolution.

• Optimisation – making sure that our service develops with your business, so we’re always one step ahead at every stage of our relationship with you.

Not all projects need all five steps of course. We’ll work with you from the start of each one to develop an appropriate plan which fits your individual needs.

The process

This premiership football club, with a global fan base, needed to enable fans, sponsors and customers to make contact easily, whenever they needed to . . .

“It’s been an excellent fit for us and for everyone who has been involved in the project – a winning combination of the right partner and the right technology.”
