"For three months we operated two TGX EfficientLine and a comparable new standard TGX in our fleet. All vehicles had a standard box trailer without special extras and drove routes both in Germany and across the Alps as far as the south of Italy. We were sceptical at first. But the results, properly documented by MAN TeleMatics®, were quite clear. The three litres fuel saving we were aiming for soon showed – but that wasn't all.

The drivers realised straight away that the TGX EfficientLine was a technically advanced product. The entire package just suited them. Even the advantage of driving at 85 km/h. The calculated nine minutes over 300 kilometres made no real difference, they drove more relaxed and with a sure tolerance against exceeding any speed limits. Energy tyres 1 The material composition and structure of the energy tyres reduce deformation and thus the rolling resistance and fuel consumption.
